Out of control!! I mean there has to be at least a healthy correction, right???! NVDA is solid and seems to pivot perfectly though. I still think AI is going to create some issues but no use in trying to gamble with the current trend amd/nvidia are on. I just wish I was in it atm.
Realtors and lenders are feeling it BUT house prices in most major cities don't seem to be THAT affected (yet). Why? AND. If private equity was paying cash to buy all the houses just months ago, why aren't they buying more houses now that sellers have fewer suitors?
Because most homeowners are locked in at 2-3% rates, and those with one house would need to buy a house at a higher rate if they sold? This is the question leading into March. The market is expecting 7 rate cuts this year while the Fed's own dot plots average 4. Only then will the hidden bigger factors come to light, if there are any.
Woman arrested after allegedly stealing $2,500 worth of Stanley cups https://www.npr.org/2024/01/22/1226097090/woman-arrested-stanley-tumblers
Like I've mentioned, I buy and buy and buy and hold TMF. Rates go down - I win. Yes, word is rates will go down. But.... the way I see things.... why? Now is not the time. Paper towels have at least 4X'd in 3 years along with many other everyday essentials, and food, and everything else - I still don't get how people working at Chipotle like @LonghornFan are making it.
It's pretty much this. I'm wondering what percentage of sales are all-cash sales vs. loan-based nowadays. There are probably people still waiting out for rates to drop even further before springing. I don't know about the market expecting 7 rate cuts anytime soon, though. We'll see.
Ive got an older buddy with 10,000 shares(bought at $15) we have been telling to sell but he has Trump vision and think this moons to $500
Honestly, it almost feels like some weird election play. If Trump wins, I could see some shadow buyer or entity with connections to a place like Saudi Arabia buy it out for some inflated value to curry favor
