No, it's an indication of him being popular in his state.

What makes him great is that he is not an absolute disgrace like Newsom. His politics are solid.

You can move to Oakland and enjoy the crime rates there.

I can do the same in Miami. I don't get your point.

It only proves that you chose a bad example to try and make whatever point.

I am not interested in continuing this conversation though. I'd rather watch the Rockets.

Because the only thing you can point to about why you dislike an equally popular governor is that a city we all know is dangerous is dangerous. It's silty and I can't take you seriously.

    Far from the only thing.

Newsom is a slimy idiot who promoted some of the worst Covid policies in the country. Also, a high tax and anti-freedom guy. There is a reason why people have been escaping his otherwise beautiful state towards Florida and Texas in droves.

Also, I really don't care what you take seriously or what not.

You are clearly frustrated with whatever in your life and in a mood to start a meaningless argument.

All the best to you. I hope your health has been getting better.

Lol. I'm not trying to argue; just pointing out silly points. And my life has been wonderful the last 9 months thanks for your concern!

interesting. at this point, quitting the race and endorsing trump might be his best shot at the GOP nomination. if trump goes to jail or dies then meatball will be there to swoop in and he will have MAGA behind him where nikki haley is going to be persona non-grata. its a long shot, but its all he has at this point.

its also the smart move for 2028. if you lose the trumpers then you have no future in the party...all republican presidential hopefuls like desanctous and ted cruz are doing is playing the waiting game. you know ted is going to "make his move" in 2028.

I wish he did not run this time and waited. I’m a fan of his but I think DeSantis had listened to the wrong people or made the wrong decision by himself.

I’ve got a tip jar bet of Trump versus the field too. I took the field. I’ve acknowledged all along that there were good chance I would lose the bet but I don’t mind getting Clutch some more money.

it’s still not over yet but the fat lady is warming up her voice.

There's been plenty of candidates who have faceplanted before and gone on to win the presidency latter, but this one is particularly oof worthy.

Everything was sitting there for DeSantis to take this thing and run with it, and he ate ****. It's one thing to lose in a competitive manner, but he straight up bombed.

Really does not bode well for his future prospects.

I think Haley will be done sooner rather than later, she looks to be cooked in SC but may pull of an upset in NH buy I seriously doubt it, if she loses, she should concede. I wonder how maga will embrace desantis and haley after they talked bad about the leader, and there will be great sound bites of them taking on trump and then doing a 180 telling you why he would be the best candidate..............should be a fun 10 months

Anyone in the none weirdo edgelord universe who ever believed DeSantis was actually good at this stuff should look back and try to understand what made them think he was good at things?

Election wins? Let's see Florida is a pretty red State at this point. Narrow win and then a boring reelection that was barely contested.

Policy - banning the dictionary, weird transobsession, vaccine conspiracy theorist, but a "capable administrator" haha

Bipartisan etc appeal - literally zero

Charisma - hahaha spawned a national debate over whether he's capable of smiling, wears high heels

This guy's been an upchucked MAGA piece of **** since day 1 when he was in the House - the credulous political press and Elon thought otherwise - but man are those ****ers wrong - surprising I know

Maybe he's just a nice guy?

Let's get real, people internalize the idea pushed by influencers like Fox News etc, that in turn creates a feedback loop where retrograde billionaire loserswaste their money on DeSantis, which generates more coverage, and he rides that wave. People think things because they think other people think them.

Basically this is the entire virtual world of horse race politics.

Meanwhile the guy is just what you see now:

Or maybe he's just another piece of MAGA ****

He was good at running for president of online edge lords - this is why the age 50+ crowd of the same, such as yourself @tinman @AroundTheWorld and Elon Musk were all in on the Desantis Experience.

Turns out this doesn't work the same as being president IRL
