When Jalen did the crazy step back to get beyond the arc just to brick 3 really made me laugh out loud.

bro you having trouble shooting mid range what makes you think you gonna drain contested three?

 

He is a decent rebounder, but those who use the term great make anything else they say harder to believe.

And his defense is better than you give him credit for. Like Brooks said it comes and goes but when he ours his mind to it he’s good. I think his conditioning is a factor, hopefully that improves if he truly has the desire to be great he says he has.

Guys, Chill! Our 19-22-year-old guys played against arguably the best team in NBA. L was inevitable. But they were still good.

Moreover, If all the young people on your team are throwing bricks on 3-point attempts, there is a more fundamental problem here: Some coaches are not doing their job properly. Don't personalize the issue with Jalen or anyone else. The person who trains these kids to shoot threes needs to be fired.

Dont argue with those people. Jabari, Amen and Jalen can take rebounds because of Alpi s box outs. Alpi is not selfish. If he would be selfish he could finish every game 15 rebounds

 

You can’t compare guys who play more on the perimeter defensively but I would argue Smith and Thompson are better.

 

Did you even watch the game? The Rockets played like a million DHO to get him going, and the 3p attempts he bricked were the result of his refusing to pass the ball to Sengun and initiate DHO. He just has the basketball IQ of a sea turtle.

Jalen is not a C&S player, great. For the love of the god can you already say what the hell Jalen is?

 

Okay, judge. It's our eyes that read the stats. It's our eyes that watch the game. Now I believe in my eyes and I think that alperen played well in every aspect. There are 3-4 people like you here who make empty talk, do your eyes see better than us. Or do you want to call the majority on this forum blind?

Then look at Jabari's rebounding average. And look at Alperen's rebounding average. Then come back here.

 

Ime can be good second coach. He can not read the game, he can not change anything in the game. Bring Ataman from Greece and see how will be Rockets. Why didnt we try Jock and Alpi at the same time? Why arent we trying Jeff and Alpi at the same time in the other games? Why did we wait when it was 3 point game?

 

Its his conditioning and athleticism. He doesn't have bounce. When I say bounce, I mean the ability to quickly recover. He doesn't offer that.

To me, I don't put a lot into stats. There are too many variables that come into play.

 

Better Brooks than Green, tbh.
