Jalen is not a catch and shoot 3 point shooter - we established that in Silas years yet …here we go again

Udoka rode with Williams and Landale too long. Also question why we didn’t see Landale and Alpe together. Kornet beat us with hustle, boards. We have no real option at 4 getting killed by Kornet. Guards on porzingis idk man Ime better not be on the post game mic talking about physicality when he put us at the disadvantage.

    Amen nice.

I can’t remember the last time he’s had a good 4th quarter. I feel like if he was going hard every time he’d at least draw more fouls, which was a strength of his until this season. I never thought that being in a proper system would hinder him this much, but I guess he had a lot more developmental misses than I thought.

What I want from him right now in my lowest of expectations mode is at least to shoot better than 2/23 from three or whatever he’s at during this stretch. It’s awful. His entire game looks tentative, and he’s getting minutes because the other players that would be taking his minutes are always conveniently getting hurt or are playing even worse.

This has been one of the most disappointing seasons in terms of a single player that I can remember as a Rockets fan, usually the players I have high hopes for turn out well…

at this point I’m almost like **** this season for Jalen, I’ll give him this offseason and be patient and optimistic but if it’s a repeat next year I’ll be done done

I am not trolling, just really want to get an answers:
1-Who is more selfish: JGreen or Cam Whitmore?
2-Who has more tunnel vision: JGreen or Cam Whitmore?
3-Can we have two uber-selfish, tunnel visioned players at the same time?

He started making idle talk again. The guy gave you 10 assists to score. They wasted at least 10 assists. He scored 24 points for you guys to win. There are still people who are talking nonsense. Fine, keep Jalen on the team and trade Sengun to another team. Do you think that's a problem for Sengun? You're full of ****.

He’s such a weirdly incredible athlete. Like, he moves in completely unpredictable ways sometimes. And he’s a really cerebral player despite his athleticism. If he even becomes a 33% three point shooter or whatever…it’s over for the league

As of now, Cam is. But I don’t think it’s because he’s selfish, I think he’s trying to learn the offense and his lack of experience is showing. Even in college he had very few assists, but he’s playing very differently now vs then

Jalen is not an NBA basketball player. Are you sick? Stop writing empty comments.

    Then what is he?

He shoots 39% when he's open and under 15% when he's covered up

He almost always misses when he does his sh*tty off-balance fadeaways to get a shot off. At least he makes 'em at a decent clip when he shoots open and in rhythm.

At this point he is going to probably need to re-shape his game to become more of an off-ball roleplayer, because on-ball isn't working at all. He either does that or he's probably out of the league in a few years.

Dillon was a defensive beast this game. He was the main reason the game was this close.

Didn’t realize Jalen was almost 40% on open shots. He needs to take more of those and stop taking shots off the dribble, because clearly his shooting form needs a revamp

He was a good rebounder last season. (Good, but not great.) #24 in rebounds per 100 possessions. He's dropped off some this season (#37). Some of that is he's spending more time boxing out. Some of it is he's playing on the perimeter more often on offense.

Look on Statmuse and see where his catch and shoot is (over 140 of his 3s are in his cold areas) they need to move him to the corner with Sengun or opposite Sengun and watch these 1-* games from 3 disappear

Sengun's turnovers killed us tonight more than anything. Also he let Prozingus get wide open 3s early which helped him get a rythm late. Other than that I love our overall efforts

For example, who in this team is a better rebounder than Sengun?
