Amen played really well tonight

 

Sengun played hard and had a good game outside of the turnovers. But to the people who are arguing with me that he’s a great rebounder and taking offense to arguments counter to that, there was a 3 minute sequence in this 4th quarter when you saw exactly why he is not a great rebounder.

“When have you seen Sengun’s guy get the offensive rebound”? Kornet had 2 in that sequence.

He isn’t a quick leaper and his anticipation isn’t great for the reasons I’ve mentioned. If I were him I’d work with a personal trainer all summer to develop his fast twitch muscles. Not about how high he gets but rather how quickly he gets up. That and his outside shooting. Some of those matchups against guys like Pritchard should have been easy turnaround shot, as Porzingis showed.

 

Our hustle made us compete. Our inexperience and 3pt drought killed us. Good game, enjoyed watching it.

the weak home court pisses me off so much, but we played well given the circumstances

 

Oh i did and mentioned that also lol. Hard to win when you shoot 28% as a team from 3. We have no shooters

 

I think if they both could have played up to the contract they're expecting, we could have won.

Jalen needs to get stronger and get with a shooting coach

Sengun is too small for a center in the NBA and he's just not good defensively

 

Wow, Şengün had a triple double? I didn’t even think he played particularly well.

1. Assistant coach to FVV+JGreen clock awareness.
2.Assistant coach to Cam how to pass- zero assist in 27 minutes, disgusting
3.Assistant coach to whole roster for FTs
4.Silas to Udoka "how/when to challenge"

 

That was much better than I thought it was going to be.

Although it always sucks to lose to Boston, especially when there are enough assholes in the stands to start a Lets go Celtics chant.

Did not like that one bit.

 

I bet Von Wafer has better shooting. Most importantly, Von Wafer is playing fearlessly.

 

I don’t even know what I want from Jalen anymore

the boy can’t shoot, and 80% of his drives to the rim result in a miss, turnover, or block

to me, Jalen in attack mode would basically be him doing his usual bad plays at a higher rate and finishing 9-25 from the field instead of 6-17

he legitimately just looks awful now…I maybe could rest easy if he was just in a slump, but he has fundamental skill, strength, and BBIQ issues

this is basically a lost season for him, I can’t see him salvaging it

 

If Alp-Bari-Tari-Amen starts no one -even Utah- can outrebound us. We will be the best rebounding team next year.

 

KPJ fans are right. KPJ is definitely better than Jalen Green on basketball.

 

Von Wafer thought he was Kobe too, lol

 

it’s going to be hard to add muscle to Jalen (look at Clarkson) but yeah he needs to get stronger - I think he has a new shooting coach and no longer using Lucas… He still gets no calls tho

Sengun has to want to cover C like Towns / Unicorn .. it’s no reason we should have Holiday and Tate and Whitmore checking C when our C isn’t a blocking threat

 

The rockets' young players were above expectations tonight. The team lost, but still, congratulations.

 

Don't worry about Alp's rebounds. Bari/Tari/Amen will be there to help.
