Always on the lookout for something stumbled across this clip that gave me some ideas. Recommendation from me: Primer is one of the best time travel movies ever.

Karen is a fun and thrilling little gem few people know about, it tackles the reality of problems we face on the daily and explores hard to talk about subjects while bringing light to topics not normally discussed but that need to be. Saying its a cult classic is an understatement.
I won't claim that any of this is obscure. Our Gang - Little Rascals (pre Alfalfa ) Here is an example of one worth watching.
Not really obscure but Peep Show is a hilarious sitcom. There was also a British superhero TV show called Misfits that was great for maybe 2 seasons but then went lame and then turned to crap.
Excellent call, I actually just started rewatching that (it came up in conversation with my brother over the holidays)
Burning Love is one of the funniest things I've ever seen, especially season 2. It's a parody of the Bachelor with lots of comedians.
tales from the tour bus. if youre a musician, music-fan and/or a mike judge fan then its a must-watch. i wish they should make a season 3, but it seems like this show was not promoted properly b/c it really slipped under the radar. bootsy collins talking about the night they dosed james brown with LSD before they went onstage... as for movies, i watched a jimmy stewart western called winchester 73 and loved it. ive seen it 3 or 4 times now and its definitely one of my favorite westerns. anyway, stewart did five westerns in the early-mid 50's with the director anthony mann and theyre all worth watching if youre into westerns.
Tales from the Tour Bus is pretty amazing. I went with comedies earlier, but since @Xerobull is a sci-fi guy, I'll add: Dark City
Don't keep my finger on the pulse of how popular things are, so I am unsure how obscure this is... I only know no one I've talked to has heard of it.
Peep Show is the funniest show of all time. Also recommend That Mitchell and Webb Look for sketch comedy. Human Giant (MTV sketch comedy with Aziz Ansari, Paul Scheer, and Rob Huebel...best hit-to-miss ratio in sketch show history) Gerhard Reinke's Wanderlust (mockumentary travel show starring a guy pretending to be German) Corporate (dark workplace comedy) You're the Worst (smart FX comedy) Detectorists (dry, British comedy about metal detector hobbyists)
