The Thunder being ahead is really not debtable. Not sure what more folks can say about it. Cavs are ahead, but can maybe argue they kind of plateau at tier 2-3, lot of their picks are gone, plus the uncertainty of Donovan not re-signing. Magic might be ahead, but slightly? Magic is a team Rockets could chase first and maybe pass next year depending on how things go.
I don’t have to make excuses. There may only be 5 idiotic posters on this board who still think someone other than Sengun is the best player on this team.
He's played the best through the early part of the season, but there is no best player right now because guys are still learning the system. The Rockets are still waiting for that player to take the lead besides FVV
We have to compare ourselves to us. Are we a better team than the start of the season? I really don’t think we are. Injuries and a coach coaching a system not changing to fit his players. The team needs more adaptive coaching on both ends of the court. Coach is newer and it shows.
