@Invisible Fan everytime you ask people about their personal fiances they always tell you how good their doing but when you ask folks about rhe overall economy they tell you how crappy it is. Folks like yourself who spew bs propoganda all day is the reason folks have been brainwashed
Nice try. You're that guy who trashes American voters for not appreciating Biden in every other post. 2 low effort tweets does not make a full-witted post. Good Job! (paid?) Good Effort!
Hes the perfect symbolism of why this country is so doomed. We have dipshits who are continously wrong about literally everything in life yet the media and society treats these people as smart folks. Larry summers tucker Carlson Donald Trump and I can go on and on. These losers get rewarded for being wrong
It's an illegal merger. The spirit ceo literally said in the trial that the merger would cause higher prices and less choices. Quit bootlicking corporate America. It's sad look
It would, but there are still 4 larger airlines than the combined company would be plus another dozen or so decent sized competitors.
I agree that this merger is iffy but I'm happy the government is finally cracking down on M&A activity. For far too long our government has been in the pocketbook of corporate America rubber stamping whatever they liked. This is why I've always thought Obama was a massive failure. His ftc was ran by corporate America and he allowed way too many dangerous mergers. The ftc is trying to break up amazon, Google, ticketmaster, and has stopped hedge funds from buying up medical practices. The government is finally reversing 40+ years of trickle down neoliberalism and I give them massive kudos to the FTC. This is what the ronald regan appointed judge said in the ruling (conservative judge) “The airline industry,” wrote Boston-based Judge William Young yesterday in an opinion blocking JetBlue’s attempted acquisition of Spirit Airlines, “is an oligopoly that has become more concentrated due to a series of mergers in the first decades of the twenty-first century, with a small group of firms in control of the vast majority of the market.”
Apple Could Soon Face 'Sweeping' U.S. Antitrust Lawsuit The United States Justice Department is in the "late stages" of an antitrust investigation into Apple that could soon lead to an antitrust lawsuit, reports The New York Times. The DoJ could be ready to file a "sweeping" antitrust case in the first half of 2024, with the agency considering how Apple's control over hardware and software locks consumers into the Apple ecosystem and makes it difficult for rivals to compete. Apple officials have met with the DoJ several times during the investigation, which has covered everything from iMessage to the Apple Watch. Some of the topics looked at: How the Apple Watch works better with iPhone than other smart watches do. How Apple locks competitors out of iMessage. How Apple blocks other financial firms from offering tap-to-pay services similar to Apple Pay on the iPhone. Whether Apple favors its own apps and services over those provided by third-party developers. How Apple has blocked cloud gaming apps from the App Store. How Apple restricts the iPhone's location services from devices that compete with AirTag. How App Tracking Transparency impacted the collection of advertising data. In-app purchase fees collected by Apple. Apple competitors like Tile, Beeper, Basecamp, Meta, and Spotify have talked with antitrust investigators, as have banks that have wanted access to the iPhone's NFC capabilities.
My credit score has never been higher. I refuse to finance anything at these rates. Hopefully I can get up to 850.
This is what being anti establishment is truly about. Its about us customers fighting against corporate América. Corporate america doesnt give a **** about any of us. The MAGATs @tmacfor35 who think somehow donald trump is somehow anti establishment blows my mind. These people are so utterly stupid If more Americans knew about the job the FTC is doing and its multiple lawsuits they would be shocked. Most people feel so helpless against corporate america
It might have been $1.87 a gallon during the height of COVID when no one was driving. Sure seems trump is worried that the economy continues to improve while Biden is President...
Economic sentiment is at a 2 year high.....wait till fed cuts rates and the wars in ukraine/middle east end
the war still effects refinery margins which put upwards pressure on gas prices. We need to get the war in Ukraine in a ceasefire ASAP
