if you say it enough, you'll believe it. I'm not saying it wasn't an act of evil or motivated in those terms, but to deny whats going on right now takes a lot of willful obliviousness. The majority of the world isn't stupid. So at some point you have to wake up to the realization Bibi is an evil man that goes to sleep in a blanket soaked with the blood of children and probably his own hostages. He would kill them willingly with his own hands if it meant he could stay in power. Like I said, hamas wouldn't be what it is today wihtout their BFFs Likud
This phrase is genocidal remember… except the same ****ing people are now going to hide under same blood soaked blanket From the river to the sea”: Netanyahu says he rejected Biden's call for Palestinian state after war Igor Derysh Thu, January 18, 2024 at 1:33 PM CST2 min read Palestinian authorities, but has called on Israel to scale back its attacks and said the establishment of a Palestinian state should be part of the “day after” the war. Netanyahu, who has long opposed the formation of a Palestinian state, rejected any such notion on Thursday. s conflict is not about the lack of a state of Palestinians but the existence of a Jewish state,” he said, according to a translation from i24News. “Every area we evacuate, we receive terrible terror… and therefore I clarify that in any arrangement, in the future the state of Israel has to control the from the river to the sea,” he continued, repeating a phrase that Israeli supporters have claimed is a call for genocidewhen used by pro-Palestinian supporters. A prime minister of Israel has to be able to say ‘no’ even to the best of friends.” Benjamin Netanyahu rejects calls for a two-state solution: “The state of Israel has to control the entire area from the river to the sea.” “A prime minister in Israel has to be able to say NO even to the best of friends.” If he can say NO to the US, why can’t we say no to him? pic.twitter.com/17KJzvW9T0 — Keith Boykin (@keithboykin) January 18, 2024 State Department spokesman Matthew Miller on Thursday reaffirmed that “there is no way to solve [Israel’s] long-term challenges to provide lasting security and there is no way to solve the short-term challenges of rebuilding Gaza and establishing governance in Gaza and providing security for Gaza without the establishment of a Palestinian state.”
If the Palestinians want the River to the Sea, there's always Egypt cause they are in De Nile on who's gonna win this war. I mean all those billions of dollars spent on tunnels are getting blown up like looney tunes There's never going to be peace in that region. I know the woke people don't get it or don't understand history before Taylor Swift was on MTV, but there was never peace there. How long did Iraq and Iran have a war? exactly.
As Von Clauswitz noted "War is politics by other means" the sustaining of the war over longterm also depends on maintaining politic support. As Netanyahu continues to alienate his closest allies and even people in Israel protest against him in the midst of war it does raise a question of how long he can sustain this conflict.
as Van Morrison sang, "You Can't Stop US, On the Road to Freedom." men of granite, bent on chivalry > terrorist death cult. Spoiler Reacher
That's romantic and all but Israel is losing the political battle. We already see in the US Congress not automatic support for continuing to send aid to Israel. If this trend continues Israel's ability to continue not just it's war in Gaza but also defending itself against Hezbollah and other enemies will be compromised. Most telling though is that there are protests against Netanyahu and calls for a ceasefire in Tel Aviv.
No but the US sends a lot of aid to Israel and fighting a war, especially one on multiple fronts isn't cheap. On top of that Israel also has to support money maintaining settlements and one of the longstanding riffs in Israeli society is that many of the ultra religious don't contribute to the economy but live off of a welfare state.
