His assists to TOs ratio has always been very impressive. He makes right decisions on the court. But the thing about turnover is, you only get noticed when you are bad.
Still absurd to me they knew as much as they did about KPJ before the girlfriend incident, and when it came time to clear cap space for Lopez we decided to dump three other young assets (Christopher, Garuba, KJ) instead of KPJ. We paid a ton of second round picks to get rid of those guys and we spent a first round pick on each of them. We spent a 2nd rounder on KPJ, I bet we could have gotten rid of him with similar draft capital we attached to the 3 guys. He was essentially an expiring contract. Even if those young guys were not looking good, they were worth investing more development into as end of rotation guys. Too bad, I still believe Garuba will be a good player in this league (Steve Kerr has spoken highly of him) and KJ Martin was a 2% improvement in his 3pt shooting away from being a good rotation player.
Tyty caught on with the Bucks. I think he can carve a spot out for himself in the league. We could use him as a backup PG to be honest.
I like TyTy. Wouldn't mind having him back when Amen takes over for VanVleet and we need a backup. He's not undersized, controls the ball well and has a nice floater.
https://siouxfalls.gleague.nba.com/news/skyforce-acquires-josh-christopher Josh is now with the Skyforce. Couldn't even stick on the bench of the Jazz. Shame.
I miss TyTy. He would be a great back-up PG. Lots of opportunities were given to KPJ,Garrison Matthews, KJM, Tate, Nix but not to TyTy. Bad bad bad management.
