I don't think fetterman really has any actual beliefs or ideology. Again he's the type of dude who cosplays as a working class person. He's an optics man. Have him try to debate on policy with anyone remotely intellectually curious and he'd stumble. He needs protection and handlers to not expose his vapidness.

Really? Where are you getting that from?

I agree he is playing a role and has a shtick but so do nearly all politicians. From what I've seen of him he does seem to know his stuff. Prior to his stroke he certainly seemed capable of handling a debate and even now it's just his issues with understanding the question and slowness of reply.

Okay you actually triggered me here. I actually take care of my body( and no I'm not insulting his stroke. Before his stroke he's always been an out of shape trust fund baby)

AFAIK Fetterman has been pretty consistent throughout his time in the public eye. If someone can show an example otherwise I'd like to see it.

regardless of where you stand, he is a spineless politician. He gets in office and chooses the big money ****ing his voters.

He's just the opposite of this. It's weird that you have such a problem with him. On domestic issues, he's about as close to a Bernie-type as you can get - he just knows how to talk to all the people Bernie never could.

did you not see him show up to the congressional hearing in his shitty hoodie and shorts asking the most basic questions?

    He is posing for $$$

I’m not hating on his stance (it could be whatever), but turning into a sycophant and simp ass eater for cash after running on the opposite is disgusting. I would hate on him even if it was my position he was inline with

he is scum and clearly not qualified to be in the position he is in

Yes he dresses like a slob and that’s part of his shtick. That doesn’t mean he isn’t knowledgeable. I’ve seen him in several interviews both before and after his stroke and he doesn’t seem like he’s ignorant.

This was a fairly recent interview he did and while he has some struggles he comes off very well.

you’re not hating his stance but This seems like you’re projecting a policy disagreement with him to judging his intelligence and character.

Can you point to where he is doing the opposite of what he ran on?

I literally stated I have no problem with policy. What I hate is posing and changing stances as soon as the individual gets an influx of cash from corporations. He is the nikki haley of congress

Have you been living under a rock?

he ran on a progressive platform (most stances I don't actually even agree with )

and then states he isn't a progressive the second he gets in power. This dude is the fredo of the real world and ****ing incompetent. We get it you like the guy just take your feddy glasses off

If I have to explain how embarrassing it is for an eleted official to show up and look like this, and ask these imbecile questions I don't know what to say.

"wHy dO u gIvE mOnEy To ShAReHolDerZ?"

You should ask the people that voted for him.

They'll answer your question. He didn't turncoat me or you, he played his constituents like crazy.

I just edited my post but will ask you again. Can you point to specifically where he is doing
The opposite of what he ran on?

I personally don’t like his fashion sense and have criticized him for it. I do think as a senator he should show decorum. That said it’s not something I care about all that much. As far as him struggling communicating yes that is what happens when you have a stroke.

According to this piece Fetterman has a 45% approval rating which isn’t good but not hated. His approval has fallen among young voters because of his position on Israel. That goes agains though what you said that it’s not his stance as that is a very specific stance.

again to note that he’s always been a strong supporter of Israel so he didn’t turncoat anyone. It’s more that this wasn’t as much of an issue until October.

This is the "I stepped in it and can't actually answer the question because I made up my position without knowing anything" response.
