I don't think fetterman really has any actual beliefs or ideology. Again he's the type of dude who cosplays as a working class person. He's an optics man. Have him try to debate on policy with anyone remotely intellectually curious and he'd stumble. He needs protection and handlers to not expose his vapidness.
Really? Where are you getting that from? I agree he is playing a role and has a shtick but so do nearly all politicians. From what I've seen of him he does seem to know his stuff. Prior to his stroke he certainly seemed capable of handling a debate and even now it's just his issues with understanding the question and slowness of reply.

AFAIK Fetterman has been pretty consistent throughout his time in the public eye. If someone can show an example otherwise I'd like to see it.

Yes he dresses like a slob and that’s part of his shtick. That doesn’t mean he isn’t knowledgeable. I’ve seen him in several interviews both before and after his stroke and he doesn’t seem like he’s ignorant. This was a fairly recent interview he did and while he has some struggles he comes off very well.

I literally stated I have no problem with policy. What I hate is posing and changing stances as soon as the individual gets an influx of cash from corporations. You should ask the people that voted for him. They'll answer your question. He didn't turncoat me or you, he played his constituents like crazy.
I just edited my post but will ask you again. Can you point to specifically where he is doing The opposite of what he ran on? I personally don’t like his fashion sense and have criticized him for it. I do think as a senator he should show decorum. That said it’s not something I care about all that much. As far as him struggling communicating yes that is what happens when you have a stroke.
According to this piece Fetterman has a 45% approval rating which isn’t good but not hated. His approval has fallen among young voters because of his position on Israel.
