So it's ridiculous to you that X.com format is short form video content where they reduce the video content to fit that medium but then post the same interview uncut on longer form platforms like YouTube? Is NBC sports on YouTube more pro Christian or something than NBC sports on X?

    That's ridiculous to you?

Is the one being emotional the one attaching a non existent conspiracy or the one calling out people trying to create anon existent conspiracy?

You call people emotional when you disagree with them. Maybe you just lack basic self awareness?

I said I didn’t really approve of them editing the clip. I also said on a personal level I would rather athletes stick to talking about the game only and leave the religion for another time. And yes, I do change the channel if I don’t want to hear something. I also said this is just not that big a deal to me. I would rather they not cut the clip, and I would also rather athletes leave their religious beliefs out of the conversation in post game interviews. I think people are blowing this thing out of proportion, but I guess that’s why this thread was created.

Woke people want to ban chicken, want all shows and movies to have gay characters, race swapping is okay, trannies on beer cans and in schools but then say....

"Don't try to push your religion on me, just stick to football"

    Can't make this up lol...

Fair perspective. I don't obviously agree with all of it but I do appreciate the well thought out response. I hope it wasn't created for overreaction because it really shouldn't be a point of contention whatsoever. I'm obviously participating in the thread though so I don't want to be a hypocrite. Let CJ do what he wants imo (that includes beating the Ravens)

And? You expressed your opinion that you agree that it was an intentional edit in a conspiracy to suppress Christianity rather than the more reasonable explanation that X.com has more short form content than YouTube so they edited based on that where the full length interview is on YouTube. That's emotional persecution complex there.

Is that what I said? I said CJ should be able to say what he wants as long as it's not offensive and it shouldn’t have been cut as he's always said this.

You've definitely got a narrative here but that's your personal opinion

Okay so where am I misrepresenting your view?

You are literally saying that his expression of Jesus is being suppressed. The narrative is from you buddy.

You believe it's a conspiracy to suppress Christian expression when it's merely a media company sharing content tailored towards the respective social media platform they are posting. X.com has more short form video with more restrictions on time limits and YouTube.com doesn't therefore the same exact company has the full interview with praising Jesus on YouTube but cuts out content in x.com to the more direct part of his answers to meet time requirements.

So please tell me who's narrative hunting?

Never said I was the "beacon of intelligence" nor do I have difficulty dealing with others opinions. I didn't see it going to the extreme as the person that started this thread easily fits the description if you follow their posting history. But I don't rely on youtube vids to form my opinions. I am able to understand that networks don't always show every word from a quote. I am able to process that it's not personal nor is it anti-anything, let alone anti-christian.

And I believe that. If he was Muslim and praised Allah I would say the same. It's his personal decision. He's not hurting anyone.

I don't follow youtube nor X too closely so I'll take you at you word

And see I don't know anything about the person who started this thread so that's the disconnect.

I don't follow youtube stuff either. I see a lot of people just posting tweets which I scroll past

What are you still b****ing about?

Again you are still buying into this nut brain conspiracy that nbc censored CJ rather than applying Occam's Razor and just admitting it's merely a media company shortening a video for one platform because of tighter length restrictions vs a platform like YouTube that doesn't have the same restrictions.

Why are you offended that I think you are stupid for still buying into such a lame conspiracy?

MSNBC covered the IA caucus all day and then decided not to air the winners speech. Cutting Strouds first statement instead of his second statement is par for the course.

Ok. This conversation is over. Personal attacks because our opinions differ are ridiculous. Hope you enjoy the rest of your evening

But they didn't cut it when it happened. I heard it 100% live. Literally everyone that was watching the game and stuck around for the end heard it. Just because a later clip on Youtube doesn't show it, even though the full clip is available, doesn't mean they did anything nefarious.

it was literally just four seconds they cut off. NBC could have easily kept it. stop pretending as if CJ had a whole hour long sermon they took out of the posted video. we're talking about a 23 second clip NBC posted. if they included the deleted part, it'd still be less than 30 seconds

Twitters maximum length is around 1 minute. The full length interview in YouTube is almost at one minute.

Stop with the persecution complex. This is absurd. CJ has been pressing Jesus for ever and we've known this since his first preseason game and it was NEVER an issue. Zero non religious people gave a **** and people who believe in Jesus praised him which is great. I'm glad they have a solid representative. CJ seems like a great kid with a lot of heavy burdens on his shoulders.

To think that the NBC X account is more anti-christain than the their YouTube channel is absurd. It's merely a time constraint issue. NBC sports social media managers aren't discriminating against Christians. You know this is an absurd premise.

The YouTube NBC sports account has the whole interview with his praises to Jesus.

It's literally just the Twitter post of it which happens to have a stricter length restriction than YouTube. Coincidence? Hell no. It's obvious it was just to cut time to meet requirements.
