I kind of have to chuckle at Republicans and Democrats shocked by Fetterman’s position of Israel and immigration. Fetterman is a union guy… he is a blue collar/working class advocate before anything. It also is what potentially makes him very dangerous to the extremes in both parties.
Are you aware of his incident as mayor when he pulled out a shotgun and aimed it at some innocent black runner? He will never have black support to run for national office as a dem. The story wasnt a big deal when he ran for senate cuz its PA but in a democratic primary he'll get cooked alive
I am aware of it - and yes I think he can win regardless. I also think that we are in the middle of voting patterns changing.

I don't find it odd that a democrat would align with the gop, there should be more of this and focus on what's right and not "owning" the other side.....kind of like what the speaker and MTG`s of the world are doing with the Border policy everyone would like to see passed.
What exactly is surprising about this? He's a populist - but a liberal version of one. He knows how to speak to those voters in a way most Democrats don't and that's what makes him so powerful as a candidate.
I have to say sincerely, Fetterman as a moderate Democrat is refreshing, I would not be upset with his leadership. You were spot on when you said long ago he brings something to the table that can unite so many
It is funny seeing many of the same people who not that long ago were saying Fetterman was mentally damaged, couldn't speak and should resign now fawning over him. Fetterman actually hasn't changed his positions. He's always been very pro-Israel, he's also been for a protectionist trade policy. This is a matter of lack of knowledge of who and what Fetterman's positions have been.
