Sucks that the new practice facility is outside of 610.

Starting lineup should have been tweaked long ago. Even some games the Rockets won, if it weren't for the bench (Tari especially) they'd have more losses. The bench has to get the Rockets back in the games too often.

Tonight I hope Udoka kept the starters in at the end (minus Jalen) so they could have their last little run together. The trade deadline couldn't come at a better time.

The way Jalen was playing it looked like his agent already broke the news. I could be wrong, but I haven't seen Udoka get on Jalen the way he does Sengun and others. It's like he doesn't want to bother.

When a coach stops talking to you that's not
a good sign (for a player). But the good news is I'm sure there's a GM or two out there who believe Jalen's struggling because of the system and not because he "sucks." He's getting less touches than Sengun, FVV and needs to have less than Jabari.

It's just in everyone's best interest that he's traded. Next season both Sengun and Jabari will be even better. Amen and Cam too (if both are still on the team).

Out out of young core in Sengun, Bari, Tari, Jalen, Cam and Amen - Hypothetically speaking, Jalen is the only one out of the bunch that I don't see the Rockets regret trading. Mainly because of his BBIQ. He's not what they expected but getting Sengun was like winning the #1 pick in the lottery. I believe it's best they trade him for some pieces that fit.

This team can’t shoot threes. I think it’s really that simple. If your team can’t make over 30%of its 3s on a regular basis, it’s going to be really difficult to win games.

    LOL

Props to Houston's "big city" style. There's plenty going on 10+ miles away from downtown.

Los Angeles is the most accurate comparison in America. Better than NYC. And LA's style dwarfs Houston. LA is amazing in the distance/happenings ratio.

Houston is very good and getting better (Dallas too, even though we cheer against them).. MFs from California and the Northeast are moving here and increasing the surge.

Yeah, you said it. Jalen is the Rockets biggest problem.

He hasn't improved the way fans and expectations have expected.

Jalen didn't just fall into the Rockets' hands. Rockets had to suck first to get his high draft status. But Jalen hasn't improved since becoming pro. THAT is a setback.

He either.. 1) needs to improve or 2) Rockets need to overcome the setback by other means.

Either way, missing on high draftees will cripple a team.

Don't know how people are expecting Sengun to show his greatness every night when he is constantly iced offensively for long stretches of games, just so the team can pander to their worst f*cking starter just to try to get him to look good.

And when he breaks down the defense resulting in wide open shots on the perimeter, his pass out there is as good as a turnover with zero shooters on the team.

FVV was absolute trash this game. I don't even care what his shooting numbers were, I felt he had a really, really bad floor general game out there tonight on both ends of the floor. Worst game as a Rocket I think.

I cannot emphasise enough just how f*cking sick I am of seeing Jalen Green turn away moving the ball just to utilise a screen incorrectly and turn the ball over.

He had two possessions tonight where he nonchalantly dribbled INTO a double team and turned it over without a single thought of ball security. The Knicks weren't even attempting to double team him, he literally dribbled into another defender.

I am so glad teammates are starting to get visibly annoyed with him on the court. Surely the organisation is seeing this. I pray to god they are.

Tate was in disbelief when he gave up the ball on a 3 on 1 or 3 on 2 fast break to Green - can't remember exactly if there were 2 Knicks back - and Jalen just casually dribbles the ball out to the perimeter and doesn't continue with the attacking numbers.

I'd absolutely hate playing with Jalen Green. Doesn't even matter which person on the team it is - they all know they're better than him - they all know they contribute more to the team. And they're all forced to take a step back and defer and watch him think he's a superstar going one on one and more often than not just gifting possession to the opposition, just so the organisation can try to salvage this blown #2 pick.

The longer the team holds onto this clown the more other organisations are going to wise up to the fact he's not worth trading for. It's a mighty fine line the organisation is treading with trying to keep him and hope he just one day wakes up with a functioning brain VS trading him early and recouping anything salvageable for him while that offer is still there. Because one day soon it won't be.

If the Rockets stand pat at this trade deadline - at a minimum by not bringing in a shooter regardless of which position they play - another huge L for Tilman and Stone.

If your name is Jalen Green - career high stuff.

Jalen's brain appears to be broken. Trade him for a pair of seconds and be done with it

I am one of the biggest Green critics but even I have to admit the root of the problem is deeper than JGreen.

This team is just bad on the road, the Defense slipped and the Offense and Bench are putrid at times.

And Sengün is not as good as he was the first 25 games.

    I couldn't understand Ime's offensive plan.
Almost everybody tried to keep the ball away from Sengun tonight

Exactly. The team is young, yet everyone here is screaming for them to make moves and compete for a title IMMEDIATELY! Just take a breath, relax, and let them learn and grow. Some might be traded, others might be better than we’d hoped… it’s all about letting this core find themselves.

People on this board acting like we were the preseason favorites and we’re coming up short.

Yes, that’s the plan. Deny the ball to the future hall of famer. Nice detective work!

Yeah but you still got to at least make trades, show that you care in the Front Office, I do not have the feeling they care enough.....

    with follow up tasks.

    We'll see.

Jalen will look good in a Nets/Pistons jersey, dribbling the ball into 2 defenders and turning it over every night.

Well that puts the nail in the coffin for Sengun in the ASG. What did Ime say now? I really don't get how Cam and Holiday are now fighting for minutes. We are just so bad on offense and with the amount of athleticism we have and good 3pt shooters, we should not be this bad. Brooks & Tate know how to cut, now it's time for our other guards to do the same. And can FVV and Jalen hit a lay-up for crying out loud? Ughh...

Who are those good 3 pt shooters.

Dillon was never this good in Memphis, FVV is not considered a consistent 3 point shooter......

Bari is young but he is the best shooter now.....

I get it, because some people use the Rockets as a stress release and when the team gives them more stress, they're probably pretty pissed. As for me, I love the Rockets to death but how they play won't really impact my day...but it wasn't like that a few years ago when I felt like I was actually a part of the damn team!

I'm glad there are still people that preach patience, because I feel like we balance out the board somewhat, but I respect everyone's opinion and I will do my best to be unbiased
