You are so obviously a loser even when you answer, but that's okay. Keep not looking in the mirror. Because I was informed that there are no mirrors left in your house and you break them all because you look at yourself. I wish your beloved grandfather could see you like this, he would be sorry for passing on his genetics to you. (Ashdhdhdhdd)
You know, responding to my very weak roast with an even weaker roast that's partially plagiarized from mine is not the way to win an online argument. But why are we arguing at all? You're not going to win, and I'm getting stupider with each post I waste on you, especially when we don't even disagree on most of our player analysis
You're right, back to Jalen Green for me > He looked ok this last game but I'm still waiting for a corner turn. I feel like it may be coming but again, I'm keeping my expectations realistic
You're going to entertain me? Come on, let's be dancers or be funny so we can have fun. I have never seen someone in this forum treating himself as a clown. Finally I saw this one.
Jalen's last 8 games (since Game 30 of the season): 19.4 points on 15.4 shots 3.8 assists and 3.8 FTA to 1.9 TO 43.1% from the field 41.2% from 3pt range 56.9% TS% (vs his 53.2% average this season) No material dip in unselfishness, effort or defense during this period His oh-so-terrible game that gave some people the excuse to be full-on drama queens is 18 points (on 19 shots), 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 TO's. The source of the drama is you, not Jalen lol. You're a grown man/woman, get your emotions in order. That's a fine off game for a SG scorer. Looks like games 30 to 40 are going to be a linear step up for Jalen. Pretty much exactly what many predicted: inconsistent adjustment period followed by gradual improvement playing within the offense. I expect to see another similar improvement from games 40 to 50 and so on. If you don't know how to develop this 22 year old, don't worry Udoka will do it easily.
He has turned it around from the rough December a bit where he just looked lost out there. I know people are mad at him for missing that OT layup, but I thought he played very well in the 4th. We got good looks when he had the ball and he did a good job creating for others.
His defense actually improved a lot this season as well as his passing. He's been averaging more and more assists and I really like the drive and dump offs to Sengun. That being said, he really needs to become consistent and efficient when he creates his own shot. Sengun needs his Murray. Hopefully one of the young player(s) pan out.
he's averaging more rebounds, assists, and much better defense all in less minutes and touches but yet the Green detractors will have the gall to claim very loudly that he hasn't improved at all.
He is nearly not as interesting to have detractors.....people criticize him because he is a former 2nd overall pick. And he should be at Maxey's level but now he is only at Buddy Hield light level or whoever is a mediocre shooting guard who can pass.
Jalen Green's last 10 games: 19.3 points on 15.7 shots 3.4 assists and 4.1 FTA to 1.7 TO (more assists and less TO's than season average) 41.4% from the field (better than season average) 39% from 3pt range (elite for 8.2 attempts per game) 55.1% TS% (vs his 53.1% average this season, needs to tremendously improve his 2PT%) +/- of -1.6 (for reference Sengun is 0.0 and FVV is -0.6 during this stretch) Not great, but I'm very happy with this within the context of realistic expectations. As I've said a million times, I wrote off the first 30 games (before the season started) because Jalen's game and development experience was a disaster coming into the season and I knew he would be overwhelmed with Udoka. I predicted gradual improvement after that. I'm going to make an assessment for each 10 games from this point onwards. The idea being: if he improves his efficiency each 10 games we're going to have a hell of a player by the end of the season having already improved at 60-70% of all skills (defense, rebounding, assists, effort, off ball) already at the mid point of the season. His PnR play has been steadily improving. If he improves his 2PT% slightly each 10 games, everything else is looking great. I want him to STOP taking mid range shots and commit to attacking the basket when he drives. I'm not happy Udoka seems to think Jalen should slow down, shift speeds and be crafty around the basket. His finishing after contact was more efficient under Silas when he would go up without a plan but with full force. Green can't be molded into a Ginobili imo. He should be more similar to Edwards and Morant when he goes up there. I also think the return of Tari and Brooks will help a lot. The emergence of Cam is very important too, that's healthy competition. Since the gloves are off and no more excuses for Jalen, I will say this: Cam is improving so rapidly than any improvement to his defense and passing makes him an immediate threat to take that starting spot. It's a REALLY low bar but Cam is not a better defender or passer than Jalen Green and that's very significant. I have a good feeling about the next 10 games.
I truly don't understand how anyone can be a fan of his game. Mind you, the JG in my name stands for Jalen Green. That's how much I wanted him to succeed. I've given up wholeheartedly. Low IQ, chucker, terrible shot, bad defense. I see 0 positives.
It is hard to like JG, i do try, i root for his success as it will lead to team success. We need him to do well, because we tanked 3 years and none of the top 3 guys we tanked for look like super stars JG has been around the longest and to me personally he is just so unlikeable. You can cherry pick some stats for a short time frame and say he has improved, but it has been 3 years and every year he will have some peaks and valleys, he is just inconsistent. The part that makes me physically sick is just how dumb he is, he is a dumb player. The types of mistakes he makes are less forgivable to me than what other young guys are doing. He is like the worst of JR Smith, except I never had to cheer on a team that JR Smith was on to this extent so it didnt bother me.
