I never said every Palestinian,... you are reaching - i've even talked about reasonable Palestinians, and made a thread topic about one before - o it happens to be he lives in Israel lol
@trustme especially and @FranchiseBlade who partially doesn't know how to feel hates that Hamas is losing and dying
The Palestinian people ARE responsible when a vast majority institutes a terrorist regime that butchers 1200 mostly civilians yes ... there are those that denounce, but they are few and far between unfortunately
I’m going to point out out again that the internationally recognized representatives for the Palestinians, The Palestinian Authority / Fatah, has recognized the Israel. Yet the argument still put forward by many is that the Palestinian people are collectively responsible.
“People” by definition is plural and collective. When Al Qaeda says the “American People” they are considering all Americans enemies.
Who runs Gaza again ? Lol or did before Oct 7 with innocent civilians cheering along the way after desecrated bodies of Israeli civilian trophies such as Louk was brought back ? The health ministry etc
I think they need some reeducation camps after the war is over - a vast majority did indeed support Hamas and their actions and feelings approved Oct 7 and yet they didn't realize the consequences
I am an architect and frankly your argument show your lack of knowledge of constructions I’m dealing with this issue right now. The per unit cost of building a foundation wall for a 40,000 square foot building is higher than a 10,000 square foot building. Under your reasoning it should be the same. It isn’t because the issues of scale mean that the cost of transporting and building in site gets more difficult. Especially as conditions on site changes. For example one part of a site has higher ground water than another part of the site. Even ignoring constuction cost the maintenance cost, or in this case the security cost get higher. This is a basic problem of Logistics. How do you properly man and supply farther and farther out along a wall? This is exactly the reason why the Great Wall was unable to be consistently manned and supplied along its whole length. It’s also why during times of weak dynasties the Great Wall would be less relevant as weak Chinese governments couldn’t afford to man and defend much of it. You seem to understand that based on above but still stick to your claim that you can simply increase wall length and get the same effectiveness. Basic engineering and logistics say that per unit increase of size or distance see an increase in cost to build and maintain and a decrease in effectiveness due to factors of having to increase cost to move and maintain material and personnel Our further.
Unfortunately civilian casualties are going to happen especially when a terrorist regime that runs Gaza uses its own people as shields, fires at its own people ... once Hamas is exterminated in Gaza - these people need to be mandated into reeducation camps that teach a value for life instead of death- imagine the peace they can have by living harmoniously with Israel - they are messed up in the head but they can be fixed by denouncing Hamas- and having checks and verification by Israel that Oct 7 never happens again - all tunnels must be buried forever
Why not instead support the moderate Palestinian groups like PA who actually recognize Israel and are willing to negotiate? Instead Israel took the policy of both collectively punishing all Palestinians, which you are advocating, and then helping to fund Hamas to keep the Palestinians from uniting under PA.
Hamas does. Now why did Israel essentially support and aid Hamas’ control of Gaza by allowing Qatar and other countries to fund Hamas instead of trying to strengthen and support the PA?
In regard to the comparison to Nazi Germany yes they were defeated at a horrific cost of lives. After though the Allies rebuilt West Germany and when Germany was eventually reunited fully welcomed a united Germany into NATO and the global economy. There wasn’t an economic blockade of Germany, there wasn’t tacit aid given to the most radical groups in Germany. There wasn’t an attempt to by the Allies to keep Germany divided and weakened indefinitely.
I don't know I'm with you in PA- if it seems like between the PA that at least is kosher on existing or Hamas that is a butchery minded entity- it's an easy choice - however at this point it's not about collective punishment for civilians- it's about destroying Hamas, as a byproduct, there will be civilian casualties unfortunately If it was about collective punishment, you would be seeing 500,000 deaths or more but I feels Israel is trying to be as delicate as possible while leaving no stone unturned going after Hamas which they should at this point
