    Maybe, I'm sure Stone and co have considered the free agent option, as part of their long term plan / optionality. Bullock has just this year (3m). Tate has a team option next year (7m). And whatever Boban has. They can still make room if needed.

    I'm not for Barnes but if offering Landale and Dipo, and you were the Kings giving up a 30min player, wouldn't you at least ask for 2nds?

    That trade doesn’t even make sense. In fact it’s not even realistic

    sac doesn’t even have salary cap issues and have one of the lower team payrolls in the league

    This was my first thought. The Kings aren't trading a starter for a salary dump when they're not in a salary cap crunch.

    If this trade happens, there's more to it than is implied here.

    I think Stein implied as a potential 3 team deal with the Kings targeting Siakam, assumingly if Raptors didn't have interest in Barnes contract, we swoop in with expiring's and 2nds.

    Right Indy and Kings are the two teams that have been mentioned the most for Siakim, with Steins reports and Shams report, seems like the Raptors are trying to get a bidding war.

    Stein is of course legit, and things move and change incredibly quickly. Shams doing a report of active talks, even naming how many picks are involved with no immediate trade to report in the following hours, seems like Raptors are trying to stir a bidding war. Indy may get him, I'm not trying to build a case or < this or > that lol
