AFC QB vs NFC QBs remaining P. Mahomes, L. Jackson, J. Allen, CJ Stroud vs B. Purdy, J. Goff, B. Mayfield, J. Love The disparity in talent between the 2 conferences has never been wider
The NFC, however, has two overall #1 picks in their mix - they just took some time to get there. For the "get a QB later in the draft" crowd, it's interesting that 7 of the players are 1st round picks.
It's time for B-Bob's turrrrible football predictions: This means free money if you bet against my advice. I honestly think the 49ers are ready to poop the bed a little. Everyone thinks they should waltz to the Superbowl, but they haven't even played a very good game in a while. They lost handily to the Ravens in their last real game, and then rested their best players for too long. Take Green Bay versus the spread -- the spread is too big. I don't think GB will win necessarily (but maybe, if they strike first), but 9 1/2 points is too big a spread. So...
Buffalo 27 Kansas City 19 Houston 24 Baltimore 16 San Francisco 28 Green Bay 6 Tampa Bay 22 Detroit 17
Strengthening my resolve: weather forecast going downhill for Levi's stadium. It's going to be messy. The Packers will run the ball with relative ease and the slick field will negate some of the speed and talent of the 49ers playmakers.
Nah. I'm not his biggest fan, but he didn't turn it over and was pretty masterful on that last drive. Calm, in control. That Love throw looked like it came from early in the season. WTF. 49ers very very lucky. And it was nice to have a playoff game go down to the wire like that. Surprisingly, my pick of Pack to beat the spread was correct. Hope nobody lost money by wisely betting against my prediction.
Hell of a game in the Bay Area. Bad way to lose with Love making a really bad decision at the end. Still future looks bright for GreenBay. Texans Green Bay Super Bowl 2026
That was a nice last drive . Packers dropped like 2-3 should've been picks off Purdy's bad passes before the 4th quarter. Niners got a little lucky.
