ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Sixers 1/15/2024

Yeaaaa...it's early Monday.

We are not playing well at all and Sixers are a contending team at home but with how we are playing ON TOP of not getting any calls and they are allowed to hack and grab this will obviously be a blowout.

 

Something wrong with sengun. He has mismatches and either passing out or taking bad shots

We just aren’t in the same league as the sixers, unfortunately.

 

Just turned the game on and down over 20+ already? I might as well go take a nap at this point.

 

Our starters actually held their own out there but as soon as we have to use our bench it just completely falls apart

 

They’ve got to have some kind of off ball motion. Not a great jumpshooting team and they’re just barely getting off a jump shot every 24 seconds

 

Opposing teams have locked in on how to play help defense against him, he is going to have to adjust.

 

It’s not like it used to be when players stayed in college and matured -that’s why overseas players are actually safer bet now.

We basically have Freshman, Sophomore ‘s (if it was 90s)

Team also needs to box out better.

 

Jalen is terrible

 

nobody is moving in opffense, everbody is waiting + no good shoots. Look Jalen again 1/6.

 

I’m sick of watching Jalen Green play basketball. I’m tired of acting like he doesn’t suck. I keep expecting him to snap out of it but it’s just a hard watch. Dude is so inefficient.

 

Sengun was sleep walking the first quarter. Looks like Ime got his attention. Now if Ime would just wake up and quit playing Tate and Holiday.

 

Sengun and Jalen are letting us down. Neither is good enough at their positions.

 

Rox have too many players that don’t make enough impact on the game….

 

These games really show where our weaknesses are.

The biggest problem of Houston is Jalen Green. Send him, send him

 

Bro wtf was that pass?

 

I get that but then you look at other teams who have top 4 picks and they have guys who are NBA ready and contribute right away. We somehow always pick the ones who are either not ready or just aren’t good. It’s bad luck cause we chose the consensus every time. Like imagine we had Paolo, this teams trajectory is completely different.
