Weak minds feed off Trump like hundreds of flies on a big huge pile of poop. What's funny about that is many say Trump stinks. A lot of his supporters are people who are easily conned and swindled. So many were simply brainwashed after hearing propaganda and lies repeated over and over and over and over.

I'd say those are the types you see spewing nonsense at Trump rallies, buying up his hats, flags, and souvenirs, and wearing stuff with Trump's name or MAGA written on it. Some just sit at home, soaking up lies & propaganda on Fox News, Trump Social, far right streaming and talk shows, and from MAGA politicians who kiss Trump's butt.

Those that aren't weak minded or brainwashed just relate to him. It could be one, or all of the things about Trump they relate to. Maybe they get a kick out of big mouth jerks, guys who enjoy belittling and bullying others, guys who spew racist hate spewing rhetoric, or guys who wouldn't hesitate to lie to or cheat on their wives.

They could also just relate to and prefer wealthy white men, guys who screw people over for a buck, people with money or power, trust fund babies, white collar criminals, woman abusers, playboys who cheat on all their wives, guys with trophy wives, gold-diggers, and oligarchs. A lot of his supporters are the types of people who prefer to associate and hang out with white Caucasians, or other rich country club socializing types who look down on the less fortunate, and don't hang out with them in their personal lives.

Who knows what category that guy you debate with falls in, but my guess is the brainwashed cult.

The only Americans who have moved on are the ones who didn't even see anything wrong, and live in denial that Trump did anything wrong. That, or they don't care about Trump trying to steal the vote. They don't care how many laws Trump breaks, and could care less about him selling or sharing government secrets to corrupt foreign leaders or people who have no authorization to know. Many Trump supporters would support than con and criminal in prison. That's some downright twisted CULT mentality! Many would love to see their "Idol" as a Dictator. Again, twisted and scary. They are the Americans who don't give a damn about democracy.

 

I don't know, but a sitting member of congress, encouraging supporters to go as a large group of people to prevent the "peaceful" (her air quotes) transfer of power ("as Joe Biden wants") seems to be calling for an insurrection... no?

 

I'd be shocked if she wasn't charged later, along with other MAGA politicians who incited the coup and were involved in the plot, and conspired with the far right groups and Trump. MTG, Boebert, Cruz, Gaetz, and a few others were shouting the loudest.
