Sure cannot. When the whole bench was not playing well, I do not feel singling out players other than the Marquee Twins matchup because it is a family duel.
He showed low mental energy against the Pistons. This resulted in a poor performance. I hope he will bounce back against the Celtics.
Disagree. He's still trying to establish himself with the starters. Some of it is him trying to find his flow with them and asserting himself. None of his missed shots have been gaud awful like Amen and he's finding a way to contribute. Last night was not great, but given the run he's had he was due for a off night or two.
Nah I can't abide by this. Amen was the only one playing remotely well during that stretch and also picked Ausar's pocket. Total mystery to me why Bullock/Tate get 20mpg
He only got big mins last game and this game and he played bad in both. The other games he gets like mins or less. "He is trying to establish himself with the starters" I get that but objectively his performance isn't good. Im not saying he is a bust or he doesn't deserve PT but clearly he isn't ready to be the starter to replace Green yet. Maybe next year.
Amen was playing really well, but inexplicably got pulled for Holiday who is a complete waste of a roster spot. He misses one mid range shot and the morons are out in droves.
I don't understand why he only played 8 minutes. Feels like the shine on Holiday is starting to wear off too, thankfully. But replacing his minutes with Bullock? Was a lateral move at best. I don't get the leashing of Amen Thompson.
Could be a b2b thing, against the Pistons, coaches trying to see if some minutes can be squeezed from certain deep bench guys. Give them a little burn to see who can be used in the Celtics game tonight. Not to be that guy, but we can keep it on Cam. There are few other Amen threads floating around can put the insights there.
I dont really hate the shots he took except maybe for 1 long 3. Sometimes you just miss these hittable 3's
Not only because he's better than Jalen at what we want Jalen to do but I think it would benefit Jalen greatly to be play on the 2nd unit. We need an aggressive guard with bigger size in the starting lineup badly.
First 20 point game for Slam Whitmore… The first of many to come! He attacks the rim like it’s insulted his family, or something. Cam’s potential (and athleticism) is out of this world
So Al Horford doesn't move Cam a single inch in the post trying to move him to get position. Multiple good defensive possessions on Tatum as his primary defender - not being switched onto him. You are NEVER going to see this from Green, who will always be hidden on the worst offensive threat on the other team, and the only time he's featured in the action is when the other team deliberately seeks him out to exploit. Jaylen Brown manhandled and bodied Jabari tonight... trying to stop Cam... Cam bodied Jaylen. This kid is 19!?! Cam is already better than Green, and has so much more potential than him. I truly hope we're slowly seeing bit by bit Jalen's spot in the starting team erode away because we've got one kid who is showing he can be a player in this league, and it's once again not the guy drafted second overall.
PREACH SNIPER!! I'm sick of being bashed for stating the obvious. How much longer are these Jalen fans going to live in denial. It's not like Jalen is the best player on the team and the defenses only focus on him. He's been considered the 3rd best player on the squad all season, and slipping to like 7th rapidly, and still can't shine with defenses aiming to slow down Sengun and Vanvleet before him. He. Ain't. It. Period.
