Fernandez worked at a nearby kiosk in the mall and would offer to watch them. ABC13 was told that during those times, Fernandez would bring the child into a bathroom, reportedly assault them, and take videos. In those videos, upwards of seven people could be heard making vulgar comments and could be seen assaulting the child, though only Fernandez is charged. Eyewitness News spoke to Torrence White with the FBI on Tuesday. Although White wouldn't comment on the case itself, he warned parents that, unfortunately, the vast majority of predators are someone you already know. "The perpetrators of these crimes are family members, teachers, and members of the community. Oftentimes folks are looking for the monster in the white van, but often it's the person you know," White said.

There are so many things wrong with this situation. No excuse for there not to be childcare available in the USA in 2024. How the hell do these ****ing child raping monsters seem to find each other, they are like roaches. How did no one not hear all of this in the mall bathroom? Someone had to have walked in to piss. ****ing disgusting. Men are ****ing gross. I don’t think there are 7 women raping babies in the ladies room. What the ****. This guy will end up in segregation and will be safe and in better conditions than some ******* that was caught with fentanyl in his car. This guy will end up getting out of jail. I’m in Chicago - you should see how quickly some of these pedo’s and rapists and attempted murderers get out… I have a case now where the teacher that molested a handful of 12 year old girls will end up serving 8 years in a medium security prison in segregation where he gets internet access, college classes and regular communication with his family.
They don’t know who they are. They only caught him because of face analysis technology. A lot of pedo’s don’t have a criminal record and keep a low social media profile - so it’s really hard to find them without clear pictures of their faces… He is locked up right now, and has been less than a month. Now it’s a game of strategy - the government wants the other people involved and those he sent the video to. His attorney knows that the government wants that information - so they will likely plea bargain. Pedo’s are consistent from country to country and they try to seek each other out. Most psychologists and psychiatrists will in private tell you there is no real cure - they need to go to jail for life with no communication outside the prison walls.
Wtf, can't we collar them with a tracker, drop them off on an isolated island and pretend they never existed? Ethical prison time seems like a drag on society and a waste of resources.
Prison, genpop, is a cure, and it sorts itself out. But you're right...some people are wired wrong and there is no "fix"
They won’t do it. Some of the more “model” ones are put in low security prisons surrounded by other pedo’s and then - upon release, go into neighborhoods that are basically all pedo’s. Right now our prison system is the worst in the first world. No one cares and the for profit model is a joke. Convicts are openly selling drugs and cell phones in their cells (which are open on entire units most the day). Gay sex in open view and rape is happening. Guards and maintenance are bringing stuff in - the public doesn’t know and doesn’t care. Pedo’s, like 90% end up in segregation. So they are put in units with other pedo’s where there are no gangs and they mostly are not violent and are left alone. About 10% are not in segregation- and REALLY want to be, and those guys are ****ED. They try to take a low profile but gangs, especially black street gangs torture them or try to murder them. @Buck Turgidson general population works except the families of pedo’s always threaten lawsuits. At some point in the next couple decades all of the scandals will come out and there will be serious reform. It scares me, because a lot of the reform the far left wants is a terrible idea. Shorter sentences, fewer offenses being punishable with prison and letting out long term prisoners in large numbers is a terrible idea. We need to improve safety in prison and the prisons need to be full of violent criminals.

Oftentimes folks are looking for the monster in the white van, but often it's the person you know.'” “Stranger Danger” is something they drives a lot of fear in society but in most cases it is people who are already known to the victims. People whose exploit their access and position of trust.
