Im so tired of people white washing trump. Trump sat there in the oval office during Jan 6 and told his aides that the rioters cared more about the stolen election than congress did. When mark meadows told Trump that rioters wanted to hang mike pence trumps response was, "he should've done the right thing" and we're here claiming that biden is more dangerous? Trump did everything in his power to stay in power on january 6. He tried sending us law enforcement to mess with voting machines, he tried sending fake electors, he told the doj to find ways to keep him in power and find fraud, he did tried to tell mike pence to do something which he wasnt even allowed to do. We need to stop sugar coating and white washing who trump is. If you still vote for him you're a traitor to the country and no white washing can take away from facts from January 6.

The border is an issue, one that we've known about for a long time. It will only get worse with climate change devastating southern regions. Long term, if today is bad, it's going to be devastating. The solution to it requires politicians on both sides working together, and that can never happen as long as the extremes on both sides hold the status quo, as they have for decades, and not allow any progress toward any solution. This is a political issue caused by the two extremes, and unfortunately, the extreme is growing in power, not less. With that said, there is a lot of misinformation and a lack of understanding of our immigration laws, especially as related to the southern border. People wanting the border to 'shutdown' I take to mean controlled, not completely shut down. But whatever the case, the border simply cannot be 'shutdown,' period, unless you completely ignore US laws and US courts, or unless there is another national health emergency (e.g., COVID). The laws created (during the 70s, if I recall correctly, and updated a few times since) moved the US toward international laws as related to asylum-seeking and refugees. Basically, anyone can cross the border and legally ask for asylum. The US can't easily block them or boot them out without 'processing' them. Everyone recognizes the laws are outdated, and our immigration system is broken, but most seem to believe the administration can somehow magically fix it. Just no. The only way the border can be 'shutdown' or better controlled, or immigration processed in a timely matter (instead of months to years of waiting in the US while they are being processed) is if Congress changes the law and/or provides funding for extra patrols, immigration judges, etc. As it stands now, there is not much Biden (or any past or future POTUS) can do. Biden has tried, and the Court has shut him down repeatedly. He's still trying (working with Mexico and others to control migrant flow through them), but all of those are really working at the edges and at best is a patch. Major and lasting changes require Congress to update the law and add funding so that the US isn't in the situation where you can cross the border at any ports or any location, claim asylum, and stay in the US until a decision can be made. Congress has refused to act for decades. As related to national security, if it is completely compromised at this point due to the border situation, it has been compromised many times and for extended periods over the last four decades since we have had a higher rate of migrants crossing the borders in the past. The truth is it is not compromised, and that idea is mostly political talk by politicians to scare you. Also, people might not realize one thing when it comes to 'illegal immigrants.' For the past few years, the main driver of new illegal immigrants is not at the southern border. It's through visa overstays.

Her lover just so happens to be the special prosecutor on the Trump case in Georgia.
