Why are we always the first game of wildcard weekend? Texans v Bengals Saturday Jan 7, 2012 Start Time: 4:35pm Texans v Bengals Saturday Jan 5, 2013 Start Time: 4:35pm Texans v Chiefs Saturday Jan 9, 2016 Start Time: 4:35pm Texans v Raiders Saturday Jan 7, 2017 Start Time: 4:35pm Texans v Colts Saturday Jan 5, 2019 Start Time: 4:35pm Texans v Bills Saturday Jan 4, 2020 Start Time: 4:35pm
Because they usually have the least national following of any playoff team, and they're usually the worst of the division winners. Having an extra game now has raised the debate of whether the MNF game is for the "worst" game or is the Saturday 3:30 pm game still the worst time slot. Honestly, I like Saturday NFL games... and 3:30 pm is just fine in terms of still being able to get stuff done during the day and have options open for night.
Don't get me wrong, Saturday at 4PM is fine (vastly preferable to MNF), but 7 times in a row is a bit much.
Tank made it easy for WRs not named Nico to get catches. Now that Dell is out, they better figure it out quick on what to do to get open.
Going to be a really tough one. I thought maybe our other WRs would show up against Colt's pass D, but sadly no. Browns only needs to key in on Nico and Schultz. Going to need someone else to step up if we want this dub. Might need a good Singletary game more than ever.
Just considering the best scenario for Houston: Wild Card Round Bal 1 bye PIT 7 over BUF 2 MIA 6 over KC 3 HOU 4 over CLE 5 NRG Division Round PIT 7 over BAL 1 HOU 4 over MIA 6 NRG AFC Championship HOU 4 over PIT 7 NRG Superbowl HOU over DAL LV
Would be sweet, but Dallas won't be anywhere near the SB. You list a boatload of upsets, possible but not likely. Miami is a possibility over KC. Pitt over Buffalo is a long shot. Anybody over Ravens, unlikely. Nice to think about and I will ride the Texans as far as they take me.
Same. They did dick all in the Colts game and the Browns' secondary is 100,000 times better than Colt's
It was definitely a best case scenario and not a prediction or expectation. It's just a theoretical way to play at home or at a neutral site every game.
