For about half the game, FVV was managing things well. But in the 4th FVV called his own number 6 times (which was his entire shot total for the game). I think some of that was a result of Sengun foolishly getting in foul trouble. But we established the lead and controlled play throughout, despite some generous calls that went the Bucks's way. Jabari played big. Again, great team win.
Great team win. Everyone did their part. This coming road trip will show if we are on the right track for a Playoff spot. This is going to be hard. if we could win 2 games, I'd take that. Splitting it would be ideal.
Man, it looked like the Rockets really capitalized on Lillard being the weak link of the Bucks' defense LOL. But overall, a ton of good things to like about this win. Great energy and movement for a second night of a back-to-back. Excellent sharing of the ball leading to seven players scoring in double figures. Toughness from the entire team, but especially the frontcourt of Green, Smith, and Sengun. The two rookies, Thompson and Whitmore, playing meaningful minutes and contributing. VanVleet/Sengun and Jalen Green being effective and playing their game. All this while missing Brooks and Eason. Gritty, tough win, and one of the best of the season.
Best win of the season? This or NOP but this one had so many positives: 1) Jalen played controlled. Solid defense. Actually made his points off of drives and FTs. Not off of 3s. That's what you do when the 3 isn't falling. 2) Jabari 40 minutes. 3/5 from 3. Banged with Giannis. He's that guy. 3) The Rooks. Didn't think in a million years that these guys could contribute in a win against a Top 5 team. Cam is putting in 10+ in every game. Amen bringing defense and passing. Amen led the team with +7. At a loss for words here. 4) Sengun/Fred. The foundation. Old reliable. 5) Lillard. Got. Clamped. 6) Refs tried. They failed. 7) Uncle Jeff would win the award of best low key signing. He's underpaid with what he does or maybe we earned it from the Jock Landale disaster signing.
Quality win, even more within the context of our injuries. Really happy to hear Coach Udoka gives props to the bench line up including Amen and Cam. Those guys earned those minutes, hopefully they can keep them. Very easy to root for this team. Will be rooting for the team on Monday at Miami.
It is because they got blown out by the Wolves and Udoka went over time and extra hours to come up with a plan and yelling at them..... hammering points home......not to get bullied and take it like a slut.
Compare the bigs: -Lopez: Huge, once a prime target for Rockets, snubbed us -Giannis : MVP -B.Portis: Menace, always strong against Rox Alp: 2 years experience Bari: 1 year experience Uncle: Twilight zone player, last stop before retirement. We won
I tried to mean "Crepusculario" remembering Pablo Neruda, great poet of 20th century. You can change "twilight zone" to "a blaze of autumn sunshine". Both are just before retirement
Really fantastic win and I'm extremely excited about Amen and Cam. They're contributing to winning right now as rookies. The future is extremely bright.
What is pathetic about this? He's right and has every reason to be ticked off. He put up 48/17 and they still lost to a short-handed team on the second day of a back-to-back.
Obviously we are getting different vibes. This is just horrible attitude. I can clearly hear 'I am good, but you are not doing your job guys'. The words are there 'including me, etc' but the whole thing doesn't give me that feeling at all.
