That being said there is a certain level of decorum we must engage in He is a US citizen and went as far as to serve in the military for a war he probably didn't even believe in, earning a purple heart. There's putting your money where your mouth is....and then theres putting your life in place of that. I don't think we should insult our servicemembers like that. @AroundTheWorld you're a pretty smart poster yourself. But similarly to how you attack muslims spreading their agenda in Germany, you as an immigrant/german citizen coming to the US and projecting your views is similar to that same sort of intolerance. This isn't Germany. This isn't Europe. I'm sure in your day to day interactions you have come to realize as much. As a recent immigrant and foreign citizen its not for you to doubt the loyalty of a lifelong tax paying american citizen who served his country. Trying to stir stuff (I don't know how things work in europe) won't work here and just turns everybody off, especially when again, you're from another country attacking a native citizen who has spent his whole life here because his parents followed a different religion. I’m pretty sure you’ve seen me and him goi g back and forth over our differences many a time now. Questioning the loyalty of a veteran that was injured in service to this country is extremely out of line. You would be shamed out of any establishment if you did it. You can paint it as me defending him but in this culture, which I hope you’ll acclimate to instead of being like the Muslims of Europe, (stirring up drama/propaganda and refusing to respect our customs), we respect service members. It’s a big sacrifice. what’s wrong is wrong, and he has leveled plenty of ad hominem attacks on me too, again I’m sure you’ve read them so I don’t know why you’re pretending him and I are besties. For the record I don’t agree with any of the attacks he’s leveled against you, but I still have to call a spade a spade
I have him on ignore, so I don't see many of his posts (sometimes I come across them when a thread makes no sense to me and I wonder whom people are arguing with, then I end up seeing his posts). Props and respect to him for serving his country (I have said this before). That said, he has said things which sound very concerning. As in, he sounds unhinged enough to do irrational things. He has had posts where he directly wishes harm upon the USA. Maybe he has post-traumatic stress disorder or whatever the issue is. But the fact that at some point he did military service for the country, which is commendable, does not make him some kind of saint or absolve him from responsibility for his later statements and actions.

That's unfortunate. He had a good reply to your accusations about him. A suggestion: if you have someone on ignore, it's best to ignore them completely . No one likes a sucker punch.
