I can support different teams from my home town for different sports. Btw, all major Turkish soccer teams have posted about voting for Alperen today. not just Besiktas: even some politic figures. yet many are also voting for Joker and others too, so seems like an impossible task. he is 21. he will have his years.
Alpi will deserve to be all-NBA (3rd team) but I am not sure he has enough support to get him voted there yet. Next year, barring injury, his name will become a regular on the all-NBA roster for at least the next decade. I predict he will be voted to the first team multiple times in his career.
Who votes for all nba? Coaches or media? If it’s coaches only, I can see it happening this year. All nba is a more accurate reflection of best nba players than allstar, imo.
I believe it is the media. If it was the coaches I am sure he would make it. I doubt enough people in the media realize just how good he is yet.
