I don’t remember this as being as bad as it was. F Wemby. He can want to go to certain teams. If he is going to have that reaction publicly though I can be his anti fan if I want as well.
What was the score when he subbed himself in? If it's as reported and it was just because he wanted more playing time, lol, what a dipsh*t. If it was a close game and he was desperate to help his team win I might be inclined to give him a bit of a "never do it again" pass.
I know Wemby is the absolute t*** among Reddit and all the social media honks, but he just comes off as so smarmy and arrogant to me. I know he was fist pumping like a douche when the Rockets missed out on the #1 pick, but in all honesty Ime would have broken him at the first sign of selfishness. This might be the biggest sign that Pop is getting too old for this gig. 10 years ago, Pop would have had Wemby washing cars in the parking lot for missing a swing pass in practice let alone doing something this egregious.
Wouldn't take it that far. He's not beating up women and he actually wanted to go in the game instead of quitting like KPJ. That said, he obviously feels entitled to do what he wants. Well, he wanted the Spurs and now he's in a situation he doesn't like. No tears will be shed for him
This ended up being a bizarre PR machinery ......I do think people outside of Houston recognize Fertitta but it is not like they know what kind of guy he is.....
Folks and fans have never experienced being the face of something and then it is like a team is filming you 22 hours a day and most likely every week...... French people are naturally arrogant...or weird in their way.....that is normal for them. Spanish people in sports too......
And that's fair. That's why I wasn't going to lump him in with a person like KPJ. That's unfair. He's just a lot of growing up to do which is the case for any young player in the spotlight. What he doesn't want to do is alienate teammate and coaches. That's a bad look. Especially if he gets injured those will be the people he has to lean on
bro u do realize he is french right? (although the majority of french people consider him as a migrant). have u ever met a french? lol
Wait, so the culture in SA toxic? Some of you owe Stone a apology. We successfully tanked in 3 years while some of you b****ed & moaned, while pointing out how Pop is so far ahead of us. Stone did everything right
I have. Been to Paris 3 times. I heard horror stories but honestly overall the people weren't bad. I know that's not exactly a ringing endorsement but we had no issues. I get Paris is touristy so probably not indicative of the culture though
