@AroundTheWorld I think you pushing it this hard plus all the twitter hate @Clutch gets on daily basis makes it impossible for him to come around. His pride wont let him. Just let the man be and appreciate if he comes around.

And you are way smart not to know this so I am really having hard time as to why you are insisting so much

Clutch should be too smart not to know an All-Star Alpi t-shirt would sell well.

I didn't see Twitter hate, but if it's there, it's wrong.

@Clutch built the best NBA team community in the world, and he should get respect from every Rockets fan.

@Clutch is also, in my opinion, the most important Rockets fan, probably with the highest reach of any Rockets fan, and Clutch has always been supportive of the team as a whole, over any individual player preference.

@Clutch has already stated that Alpi is a damn good player (see my signature).

And I'm sure all Rockets fans, including @Clutch, would be happy to see the team's objectively best player be honored by being selected to the all-star game. Jabari and Tari and Vanessa and MOMSTER have all already agreed that Alpi should be an all-star. I'm sure other players like Jalen will follow and endorse Alpi as well.

I'm just assisting in a campaign that I'm sure @Clutch is happy with. @Clutch himself explained the logic why voting is still important, even if our Rocket is not among the starters, since it might influence the coaches.

We are all Rockets fans, and it will have been three years without a Rocket being represented at the all-star game. It's an important honor for the whole team and organization.

All real Rockets fans will be happy to see our best player there! And @Clutch is the OG of Rockets fans, so I'm confident we are on the same page.

    Translation:

This is a content for some of our followers who say "Alperen Şengün does not deserve to be an All-Star".

Alperen ranks 17th in the entire NBA in efficiency this season.

Some NBA stars who are behind Alperen in the efficiency rankings:

    Kawhi Leonard (18th)
    Damian Lillard (19th)
    Tyrese Maxey (20th)
    Karl-Anthony Towns (22.)
    Stephen Curry (26.)
    Paul George (36th)
    Jimmy Butler (38th)

Every year, 24 players are selected for All-Star. 12 from the Eastern and 12 from the Western Conference. Alperen ranks 10th in the West in efficiency. In short, in terms of performance, ALPEREN ŞENGÜN DESERVES TO BE AN ALL-STAR.

The nice thing about someone from another country becoming the team's franchise player is that it creates a lot of fans who eventually transform from player only fans to Rockets fans, who support ALL Rockets, not just their fellow countryman.

Good example in the tweet below.

And by the way, I am confident that the Rockets will level up their featuring of Alpi for the all-star game, as well as featuring Alpi as the franchise player in general.

He is just too good not to.

And it will not be possible to be a real Rockets fan, but not to support the franchise player.

Maybe Alpi will get some votes from Mexico, too.

I am 100% with you, however my point is that I am afraid there is a significant chance you are defeating your own purpose thats all.

The first voting update is in 2 days, basically if he has a chance or not......the first one could tell.

A lot of other fan bases around the country actually hate playing Sengün and could vote against him......

It is a race against them and the fair weather fans that have a hunch about a Turkish Center but do not watch enough games to know what is up.

They are basically voting Curry- Luka - Lebron-Durant -Jokic (whoever the next American guy is)

Lauri's, Dray's numbers could be had, seems reasonable......but it is not easy.

Wiggins' numbers is going down most definitely. Durant takes Wiggins', AD's, and Zion's votes.

I suppose Kawhi was injured.....and he actually played this year so his votes are going up.

Shai is going to take Morant's spot.....

Yeah, folks vote for random players to take away votes from minor stars .....essentially guaranteeing a Top 4 of LBJ-Durant-Jokic and AD.

AD is the odd man out. Sabonis is not even in there.

Wemby and Chet are taking away votes.......you can almost see and smell it....

There is a translation bot at the end of the tweet, very small letters.

(That one is from me: Unbeknownst that Coaches could take 3-4 guards for reserves)

I saw that but it’s still not an explanation of what stat they are talking about. It just says efficiency. Generally when you just see the word efficiency it’s referencing TS% or EFG% but it’s not either of those.
