Of course there is, its a make or miss league

The truth is so simple, that's why most hate it or only like parts of the truth to push a personal vendetta

In sports the truth changes weekly based on performance

So care to enlighten us where you stand or are you neutral.....

yeah, it is mostly expectations and what not......nobody is perfect.

In reality dude is another millionaire scorer, he happens to be on the team that I follow but that is all.

All of the verbal shenanigans happen between fans.....

I can't find anywhere where I can bet on Sengun to win the Rookie of the Year trophy.

Can you find any betting companies offering that this year? I'm ready to drop my house deposit on that lock.

I stand on what I type about on here

Nobody was talking about perfection, more like hot/cold, and trying to find a consistency in being more on the hot(make shot) side of shooting the ball, which the TS% BS is all about, rather you make or miss shots, any player

Yeah of course but if you watched this guy, he is more inconsistent than most players even, that means in the same game he can be 90% making and in one half he can be 9% making, that is him summarized.

That is making him an enigma.
And you can practically spin a bottle which quarters.

So any players goes out of the window, he is pretty unique in his misses and his makes.

Udoka is figuring out to catch more lightning in due time.

Totally and I should have prefaced that by saying the goal would be to make exploratory calls without mentioning Jalen and just see what’s out there first that you think is a worthwhile return. Don’t openly shop him because once Woj or Shams reports that the Rockets are looking to move Jalen, he’s going to be an afterthought for our future and bad blood will ensue along with low ball offers.

Any GM wouldn’t be doing their job if they weren’t making these calls regardless so it’s not like Im asking Stone to do anything differently other than mostly internal strategizing. Only thing you need to be telling Presti, Ainge, etc. on calls is “we are looking to add more shooting, or rim protection to back up Sengun, etc.

I mean that’s how these things work in any negotiation anyways except for when Stone acted like an amateur with Oladipo and EG multiple times going out there literally announcing a fire sale and falsely claiming you had this great offer out there to create a fake price floor. That was stupid, and shows his inexperience and cockiness to think he can fool other gm’s. It’s a relationship and trust business and you gotta learn how to take the slower but more effective approach of having conversations, understanding other gm’s needs, and working with them on a win win.

If no teams communicate back to you needs like for example: “we need more athleticism and youth on the perimeter to take pressure off of X star” then you know that the market probably isn’t worth pursuing much further and you can internally know that you’re rolling with Jalen till the summer most likely and maybe even make overtures to Jalen’s agent about working out a value deal on an extension even because it might be the case where Jalen is the best out there to roll with if there’s no great market out for him and you can invest longterm a bit more with security on both ends.

Come live in the real world. The notion of shopping Jalen without mentioning his name is juvenile. NBA GMs don't double-talk with each other and when a player is on the block, Woj and Shams will tell the world.

This is a really bad idea if you ask me. It would 100% get out that he was shopped and the damage would be irrepairable to the guys remaining on the roster. Udoka has built a culture of trust and brotherhood. For him to be secretly shopping Green would shake Udoka's relationship with all the other young guys.

Not to mention, there's absolutely no reason to shop Jalen or act like we are desperate to make the playoffs. We can simply do that in the summer after we've given him 1 single season to catch up on 2 years of bad development. If we're shopping him 30 games in, we never really intended to give him a shot. Were you expecting him to improve defense, passing AND shooting within 30 games in his first season being asked to win NBA games? I would have rather traded him before the season started than to go this route.

Most players have "shots they typically make". Jalen doesn't really have that, he can technically hit all shots no matter what difficulty, but also at the same time miss all of them. Truly a weird player.

If you asked me what Jalen's go to move is if we needed a field goal I cannot tell you.

You know I've been pretty critical of Jalen .... but your position isn't wrong.

All he has to do to "figure it out" is start putting the ball in the hole at a higher rate ..... and the odds of him doing that aren't bad at all.
He spent the offseason working on his body and various other things with some degree of success - If he can do the same with his shooting over the next offseason ..... there's a chance he's a solid rotation piece.

Then there's Cam .... and he's gonna make things complicated.

They already did this prior to the draft.

Actually this happens a lot. Why you think there were Jalen rumors but no Sengun trade rumors? I think Rox sent feelers out just to gauge the market but didn't confirm they were shopping Green so they can tell people it's just pure speculation.

He's not that inarticulate. He has that same problem as Shaq where he doesn't speak clearly--but the actual words are fine. Just treat Jalen like he has a speech impediment. Don't you feel mean now

I mean I would argue that hardens go to move was the step back jumper but when he was not on, he missed those jumpers. As a guard the goal is to get a shot off from the spot you want to get it off from and not about hitting that shot all the time. Jalen has the ability to get to where he wants and put the shot up. I know he is streaky but that streakyness can improve but that ability isn't found in everyone. For that reason I am not out on jalen

Nothing in this linked article says Jalen was on the market or that "trade feelers" were sent out to gauge anything. Where are you getting that from?

In fact, it actually refutes your opinion:

    The subtitles says:
The Houston Rockets are days away from the first major shake up to their subpar roster, but Jalen Green is untouchable.

    Then in the article itself,
Jalen Green will remain a member of the Rockets for the foreseeable future

    Again,
ClutchPoints is the latest to downplay trade speculations regarding Green

Then this: Yahoo Sports reported in May that the Rockets could have an interest in flipping the young star to accelerate their rebuilding plans, but the rumor has since diminished
In other words, the supposed rumor was complete garbage!

If "could have an interest" is the best you got, you got nothing. You are the exact personality type clickbait articles from worthless blogs target.
