Also missed some defensive rotations on the other end. What Udoka wants from him is consistency. My guess is that blood doesn't rotate on defense, and doesn't pay attention to the "details" on the scouting report.

 

Man, it is not going to carry over to the next season. I do not believe in superstitions.

So if Cam hasn't played enough to even talk about stats how can you even say he is as good as Holiday? Unlike Cam Holiday has played a lot of mins and showed he is our best shooter.

I actually think Cam has a decent handle. He just needs a chance but that has nothing to do with either Holiday or Tate since Ime play Bullock over Cam as well.

 

if you like Holiday so much that's great, I like him too. That man at 5'9 is not going to win you games that matter. Cam is the future. I dont care if Holiday is your best shooter. holiday is not going to be here long. dont get attached.

Cam is just as capable.

 

But Amen is the same as well, missed a lot of rotations and details but he still gets chances lol. Maybe Ime just hates Cams laid back personality.

 

I'm not attached you're the one who said Cam is as good of a shooter as Holiday with zero basis.

Every team needs a shooter. Even last year when we were tanking we had Garrison Matthews.

 

I just looked at the box score and saw Tomato Sauce Jock had his usual production.

 

i hope you wont have to trade in you holiday jersey, bro. praying Cam will be just as good as holiday some day.

 

Then all you need to know, he did not play that much which is improvement from Udoka.

 

Did yall notice Thompson acting like he popped 5 zans mid 4th quarter? Dude was walking in slow motion anytime he wasn't trying to score

 

Cam is much better than Holiday over all but shooting wise Holiday is a lot better and more consistent than Cam. If Ime needs somebody who can break zones he is going to Holiday he ain't going to Cam.

You keep saying Cam is just as good as Holiday at shooting but then also say Cam hasn't played enough to get stats lol which is it? How can you keep saying Cam is a knock down shooter without proof?

 

And EVERY game we won in 2024, Silas was on the sidelines

 

I don't want to get too excited, because the Pistons are awful...but in that third quarter, when we played through Alpi, the offense looked incredible. Jalen's shot has looked good for the last few games, and I hope he keeps doing whatever's he's doing. I don't expect him to shoot 50% from three every game but I do expect him to attack, draw fouls, and cut when Sengun has the ball.

I think FVV did a good job of letting go of the ball a little more in the second half (well, just the third because he didn't even need to play in the fourth quarter). We actually play worse when he's too sticky, and he does have a bad habit of fixating on only one passing target--though I do think he's been better with that recently.

Cam and Amen both looked good. I don't want to unfairly single out Aaron Holiday, but his minutes are in jeopardy and his play isn't doing much to convince me why he should keep getting time.

FINALLY a good, boring win. That's what good teams do, turn up the pressure and blow out shitty teams any time they want. I hope we keep rolling, and I hope DB feels better soon.

 

Holiday doesn't really play the same way Cam does, kinda apples to oranges. Holiday is our backup ball handler most of the time, Cam is more of a straight line player, he rarely takes more than 2 dribbles

It's a shame the Pistons aren't worth watching, because their commentators are really, really good.

Two level-headed guys talking basketball the entire time. No theatrical yelling over nothing (you listening Ryan?) no hyping up plays as all time great moves when it is as common as a player inbounding the ball (you listening Ryan?)

They seemingly complemented Sengun at least 50 times throughout the broadcast. And not the faux pas comments where you know they haven't watched a single game. They knew what they were talking about.

You could tell off ball movement was emphasised for this game - not even exaggerating I don't think when claiming at least half of this season's off ball movement when Sengun gets the ball - happened in this game.

A great give and go from Jalen/Sengun. PLEASE Jalen recognise the easy bucket this created for you.

Jalen penetrating is at this point an absolute disaster. He simply cannot do it.

Stay around the perimeter and wait for the ball to find you and if you're ready - shoot it. Once again another game proves if he isn't thinking of anything but letting it fly - his shot looks to drop.

Recognise what is making you look good out there Jalen.

Sengun. Boy that third quarter must've felt good just absolutely decimating the Pistons and their inept assistant coach.
