I like the way Ime is hands on with the players. You see him monitoring and talking to the players on the court and that's a far cry from past coaches RA and MDA who act like they're part of the audience and just watch everything burn down. Also unlike some of the coaches I've seen Ime is very respectful and professional, he doesn't holler his instructions halfway on the court he calls the player during game breaks, has a short chat with him then pats the dude on the chest or back. I dunno how he is behind the scenes but so far it seems like being a former player himself he knows how to treat players with respect.

 

Tari/Tate leading the break ever is just a turnover waiting to happen.

 

Yea that's the reason Sengun is a step ahead of him i think. When Sengun gets hot he turns into a borderline superstar.

 

You need to be hot and sexy to play that.

 

To be fair, Wagner does not have that true PG.....he is used like a secondary PG himself.

If there was no Fred and AS action, we might see what he can do himself.

But you are right that Franz lacks the selfishness to his play that Dirk Nowitzki had, he has all the tools.

I don't know why people were b***ing about Amen earlier by the way. Been watching him closely the whole time he's been on the floor. He had that blown layup and rebound, but he's been playing good defense and he's been making good passes and setting decent screens all night. Clearly still gaining confidence and gaining the trust of his teammates but he's been more than fine.

 

Nice Guy is having a great time. I still can't believe he gets paid to coach basketball lol
