The Biden administration’s revival of antitrust policy is just getting started The US International Trade Commission has uled that Apple violated two health-technology patents related to blood oxygen sensing held by Irvine, California-based Masimo Corp. as a result, Apple can no longer sell its newest watches.
"Two apples in DC were $5.72 for those two apples. Now, I don't know when the last time Joe Biden has been grocery shopping ... " Perhaps maga house member carl should go grocery shopping once in a while? maga republicans spew such ridiculous lies... and so easily disproven. But the idiots go on fox news and know the idiots that watch fox news will believe anything. A large apple in the Washington DC is $1.00 each. https://www.kroger.com/p/large-pink-lady-apple-each/0000000004130?searchType=suggestions A 3 pound bag is only $4.50. Typically 8 medium sized apples or 10 small apples. https://www.kroger.com/p/gala-apples-3-pound-bag/0001111091825?searchType=suggestions Perhaps maga house member carl should go grocery shopping once in a while?
He’s not lying. Two apples can cost that much and more when delivered to your house within hours. Grocery delivery directly to you within a day or two is a newish and growing market since covid.
Even in that situation, the apple is still $1, but the delivery charge is an additional cost and its not a factor of inflation, but of a new fee or cost resulting from the consumer's desire to not go shopping. The maga house member is still lying. Of course I know you are joking...
Obama had the absolute worst people in his administration. Obama was such a utter failure on the economic path. He was such a neoliberal smh. I hated Obama as president
Biden admin is about to declare all out war on corporate America next year. [ It's honestly strange that the far left @fchowd0311 @glynch use to pretend about breaking up monopolies but stopped now that it's actually happening @Space Ghost as a libertarian you should be FOR small business and against corporations screwing over americans. That's what true libertarianism stemmed from back in the day.
There is nothing more in this world I hate than this scumbag. The sad part is his dipshit followers on these forums blindly believe him
Ah yes, the libertarian love of massive government regulatory involvement in private businesses. I think that was Milton Friedman's second book.
Do you have any idea what the goals of the Libertarian League were in the early days ? The original goals of the league was literally to free and open markets which they saw were rigged by big business. Clarence Lee Swartz in the early 1900s rallied against big corporations who he saw as a obstacle to individual freedom. Ive actually studied the movement and it had alot of socialists in its early days as they saw big business stealing individual freedons. The entire movement has been hijacked by donkeys like yourself who just want to pay zero taxes and have no government regulations. The entire movement is just a grift nowadays for rich people who don't wanna pay taxes.
Modern American libertarianism is nothing like the socialist libertarianism that originated in France. It arose in the mid 20th century and is generally in the mold of anarcho-capitalism, minarchism, or classical liberalism. It isn't a secret that we are against taxation and government regulations. It isn't a grift, in that we aren't trying to trick anyone.
"Socialist libertarianism" was very very popular in the early days post ww2 in the usa and the movement had a huge coalition of right wingers and left wingers who both saw the need to reform big business as a way to provide freedom for individual. It actually had a agenda that most Americans were sympathetic towards. Your version of "libertarianism" is to allow corporations to do whatever they want with no push back Have you looked into the FTC anesthesia lawsuit? There was a new york hedge fund that was going around Houston and Texas and buying up local anesthesia practices and then rolled up the practices and jacked up rates beyond what insurance companies paid. It led to massive denials for patients and citizens going bankrupt when they got the bill. The ftc for first time in history went after a hedge fund for this practice. Have you looked at how ticketmaster and liv nation collude? Live Nation has exclusive contracts with all the major sporting venues/stadiums which force artists and sports teams to use ticketmaster which then charges outrageous service fees. It's ridiculous that a corporation can have exclusive rights to both the venue and to the ticketing. Insanity The idea that we should close our eyes and allow elon musk and jeff bezos to have absolute free reign to do whatever they want is absolutely dumbest **** ive ever heard. https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/new...s-competition-anesthesiology-practices-across
