Jalen playing better just in time for his game against Cade Cunningham

as long as we’re not the team to break Detroit’s streak, then I’m good

 

He had a good game. Sengun and Fred were outstanding. How often has Alpi fouled out? Too strange. Don’t ask me about Landale..

 

Jalen played a great game overall and made the right decision on the last play too. He was double teamed and there was enough time on the clock for Jock to make the correct play. It's not exactly Jalen's fault if a professional basketball player doesn't know he should kick out the ball when his team is down by 3 with 3 seconds to go.

 

I can't believe we just wasted a good Jalen game. Do we not realise how rare and precious they are??

Ultimately it’s Ime’s fault for leaving in Tate and Landale in for no reason. They were able to double Jalen leaving open a non factor bench guy and a non factor starter

 

At least Ryan Anderson stretched the floor and could hit a three (in certain arenas...).

I have literally no idea what Landale does well.

I thought okay, Aussie player, so he's going to set good screens and be physical as hell and he's not even that. I have no idea what he does well.

If someone can tell me what is his best skill or what? I'm just confused.

Seems like we'd honestly be better playing Boban or going small than Jock. I'm serious.

 

I rewatched that play and I put that on Jock Landale. He set a poor screen that allowed Jalen to get double teamed, and didn't have sense to kick it out to Holiday for a corner three. He thought it would be a good idea to attempt a layup when down 3 and about 6 seconds left on the clock. I think it was a good inbound play call but just poorly executed.

 

He makes a really good Vegemite sandwich

 

Our last line of our defense is Toronto. If they loose to Pistons first our loss might be overlooked

 

Landale had the ball with 5 seconds left and had both Tate and holiday open at the corners. Green’s play was good, he could have taken a quick 3 with the first screen before the double team closed up but he didn’t. That’s okay.

Landale had no intention to pass the ball. I mean he was completely fresh, came out from a time out and didn’t know he had to pass it for a 3 pt shot. Unbelievable. I hope we don’t see him again.

We lost the lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter with the Green-green-fvv-holiday-eason line up. Interestingly this line-up had not played even a total of 1 minute up to this game. and they weren't organized at all on either end.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen a Rockets big be this embarrassingly awful at virtually everything.

 

Right he’s a 7th or 8th guy in a winning team.

 

.. thought Ime could have mixed up some zone d a little. They had no one to guard Maxey.

 

Even prime Phil Jackson would’ve lost the game with Jock, Tate and Holiday playing major minutes next to Shaq and Kobe

 

Because Tate and Tari already can't shoot 3's, you can't just add another one

 

A bitter loss.

 

Tate was the only other player in the + column besides goon for what it’s worth. We had Goon Fred and Jalen at 28 33 31 respectively I don’t know if more offense was the answer. Another game where we missed the villian, let alone bari, in route to a loss.
