Coach Ime needs SOME help in elite offensive CREATIVITY

    plain and simple.

    the ones he had in his Celtics run are both Head coaches right now.[Celtics+Jazz]

    no can do. I guess.

    he's got the defensive side humming great. but obviously, the D breaks down w/o DB[Suns game]

    here is when we need SOME offensive CREATIVITY. when the D ain't enough to eek out wins.

    agreed, thought FVV could fill in if Brooks is not available on the court, but we may be needing someone on the frontcourt aside from Uncle Jeff to lead our young pups

    What good is offensive creativity when the team don't have shooters or alpha player.

    in my humble opinion, that's where -exactly the point- where creativity is mostly needed, when the team as you've mentioned has no shooters or alpha players.

    or how can we make the current line up become shooters and alpha players by scheming offensively for them[other players] aside from what's being 'currently featured' offence..

    Or this team was not assembled coherently and scientifically to begin with.....now you have to find ways to overcompensate.

    If you start your rebuild with AAU ballers that is exactly your outcome. You start to pile on the defensive players......there will be years until the balance is restored.

    exactly why he is missing the output of his former assistants - current Celtics/Jazz HC

    but we really don't know what they[Ime and the Coaching Staff] are planning, what's currently happening may just be to boost trade values for some players to force FO/Ownership to trade for high value stars :D

    well that's the actuality, as you term it an AAU ballers team, is what Ime and his team signed for, it's no secret what they are going to deal with.

    thus signing vets to 'compensate' - but the question is - what's in balance... playoffs vs what you've signed for[an actual AAU TEAM/6 pups]

    I never forget that there is a disastrous 4Q in the first away win in the season against Nuggets

    This team is still a work in progress. It is still very much a developmental year as the Rockets are trying to build these young players up in their second and third years blending them in with vets while sprinkling in 2 rookies. You saw how Udoka tinkered with the rotations in the Suns game mixing and matching. This is a marathon not overnight process.

    the Rockets are ranked 20th offensively…exactly where they should be with this level of offensive talent and with the below average shooting on the roster

    the starting backcourt is crazy inefficient…both FVV and Green shoot below 40% from the field and have a TS% way below average, but they average 28 shots a game between the 2 of them

    Jabari isn’t a big time scorer and is still a little inconsistent…Tari ain’t a big scorer either

    they rely on guys like Aaron Holiday and Dillon Brooks to overachieve

    you've said it, that's what inspired me to start this tread - ''how Udoka tinkered with the rotations in the Suns game mixing and matching'' - we are just starting, how many games more before trade deadline...20+games... how many games more before the 'play-ins'----people are just to impatient or too excited to be correct. lol

    Just get out and run bro. You have brand new Ferrari's on the team and are driving them around like a fking Prius. The Jackie Moon dump it down, kick it out, dump it down, kick it out, dump it down, baby hook offense is stale AF. The Sengun + WHOEVER pick and roll is now easy to defend as a staple what is the corrective action? Use your legs and youth to your advantage for easy points.

    thus the need for changes-fearless experiments-what's there to lose...we've proven the Rockets can be a defensive Juggernaut initially... but other teams are easily reading our offence.. soon they would negate that 'sen hub' it's actually happening...

    the proportion of whose 'athletic/or who could run' on the team vs who '[makes the Rockets team one of the slowest paced team] is just astronomical... of course we can't mention any names or else we bear the grunt...
