Yea but making it a white-out uniform with the white helmets makes it look completely different. Looks like an entirely new uniform imo. I think it's a great look personally. I'd much rather than all there terrible mockups I keep seeing.
The white helmet on the blue jersey would look kinda crappy IMO. Bad mockup but you get the point. Might look better on red.
Don’t really understand this post. The Browns look the same as they’ve always looked. The Rams look great, better than when they had switched to gold. Don’t remember Falcons and Cardinals but seems like the same colors they’ve always had? Commanders are a new team so not sure how they could’ve already rebranded. I find these uniform discussions boring as hell because it’s all personal taste, but was legitimately confused by this.
The Commies are not new. They are the rebranded Redskins. I could care less for their colors scheme, but the name is fitting.
Allright I'm convinced this is going to be some alternate jersey we wear once a year called "H-Town/Heritage/Houston Blue" something. Just praying that the hideous old English "H" and the Texans' "T" are not part of the rebrand.
Cardinals? San Francisco and Tampa Bay also use Red as their primary jersey color, although they use gold/pewter for pants.
The Cardinals red is actually closer to crimson, and recently they have this weird obsession with black. The 49ers have a classic red, but they also feature gold very prominently, and Tampa leans heavily into pewter and their red is also more crimson. Also worth noting all 3 of those teams are NFC, which does matter for brand identity. The Chiefs don't run around in yellow pants/jerseys/helmets.
It’s already been approved. So the Texans can sell it because it will likely say Htown and not Houston. Also remember U of H got in trouble because it said Houston on the uniforms. Rice got to sell their version.
Also if you check the Texans’ header on their twitter, they put it there alongside the Texans vs Titans promo lol
I'm talking about the number of times you can wear alternate jerseys/unis a year, etc. I know they have some rule that specifically applies to helmets.
No coincidence that they're rolling this blue out for the Titans game. It's a tit for tat with the Oilers stuff.
