Your brain is not working. Everyone sees and knows your old comments. You are an enemy of Sengun. Do you think people on this forum are idiots?
Sometimes Jabari disappears a bit. I'd like to see him be more physical in general. We need more Alperen/Jabari actions where we are using Jabari as the home run hitter. He is too good not to get more shots in this offense.
"You are an enemy of Sengun." Man them cults of personality are a real doozy... For reference to the regular Sengunatics: This is why people are anti-SOF, people like this right here.
His role depends a lot on how defenses are guarding Sengun/FVV and other scorers. It's ok if he doesn't get or make shots in this role sometimes, he's there to burn double teams and create spacing. However, I would have drawn up some more plays for him against Nesmith and Smith. That was a good matchup for him to try creating some more points. Haven't watched the game though, going by box score.
There was a poster arguing against me last year on how bad Jabari is compared to Jalen Williams and how Stone sucked so bad for not doing any scouting on Jabari and just picking Jabari based on name recognition alone. I forgot his name right now but that dude hasn't made any post here eating crow. But I guess that's par for the course a lot of posters here always post like they never had a bad take in their entire life. I'm sure in his head he is thinking like he knew Jabari was this good all along and Stone just made the "obvious" pick now.
Tell this ridiculous comment to your own stupid citizens. You only write stupid comments like this because I give good answers to your ridiculous arguments. I can write whatever I want on any forum page, just like your ridiculous comments...
You decide. Which player will people become fans of? are you sick? Don't write stupid comments anymore. Eat some fish. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient for everyone.
This team is so inconsistent and look terrible without their leader Brooks out there. What scares me the most is the fact that Stone came out and really said that he was comfortable with the way this team was structured and did not think a trade was necessary at this time. There is no way Stone can look at this team currently constructed with absolutely ZERO shooters and really convince himself that this team is good as is. Houston is currently 8th in the PO seating with Green playing like hot garbage and the offense looking like something out of a HS JV game at times. Stone 100% needs to make a trade for some shooters at the deadline along with some rim protectors. I'm not giving up on Jalen but I am giving up on him to grow as a superstar for this team, I just don't see it. If someone like D. Mitchell or Bridges becomes available I think you pull the trigger. A team centered around Ime's vision and culture can make some serious noise in the PO. Imagine an Ime led team that looked like this... - Fred (PG) / Holiday - D. Mitchell (SG) / Amen - Brooks (SF) / Tari - J. Smith Jr. (PF) / Tate - A. Sengun (C) / Green / Deadline Deal You have a young Superstar than can score and play decent D, at least better than anything Green has given you. And you have a great group of complimentary players to go along that superstar to make a run.
Phase 2 is still phase 2 no matter how bad fans want the FO to rush to make a trade. Stone's just being patient and sticking to the plan. The team will be much different next season. Maybe even this season before the trade deadline. I hope they're able to get D. Mitchell somehow too.
It shouldn't scare you, it is standard GM PR speak. What else will he say? "Our SG sucks right now..." then have Jalen moping about how the team doesn't believe in him and demand a trade which would make it harder to trade him? So yeah I agree with the most of your post but GMs always say they are happy with the team and are not looking for trades but 100% Stone will be considering offers made to the Rockets or even shopping some players around so whatever a GM says can usually just be ignored as PR speak.
I know there are elements of this fan base that aren't particularly basketball sharp but it still stuns me that despite how delightfully successful Stone's rebuild plan has been there are still people who want to cut corners and cheat the process. The Rockets look to be building something special and you don't undercut that for a few more regular seasons wins just to satisfy a few impetuous fans who lack perspective, patience, and foresight.
The other day Jabari said they are getting his release more like Klay and shooters like him, which was great to hear. Klay Thompson is the blueprint Jabari should follow. Some shades of Melo too but without the over-reliance on mid range. If he can give us that plus a developing mid range game we'll have a hell of a player. He's finishing more responsibly at the rim as well. Defending, rebounding and blocking shots at a very good rate for a skinny PF. Turning into the perfect player for a championship run. What's a 24 year old Jabari going to look like with some added muscle, experience and more polished jumper/handle? Next to a Sengun with an improved 3pt shot? This combo is going to be TROUBLE for the NBA.
