Jabari is a poor man LaMarcus Aldridge...he's not there yet on creating his own shot...still dependent on his teammates to get him open looks or get into his spot. All-stars, such as Sengun, can go get buckets and create shots for his teammates. We're not running any sets through Jabari and there's a reason for that
Everybody has their player assessment. I just happen to think that Jabari is able to do everything on the court and his skills are only getting better. I guess, my question to you is, why you think he doesn't deserve votes? And just because Im a Rocket's fan and I think a certsin Rocket's player deserve an All -Star vote, you find a problem with that?
Honest assessment! If thats how you feel, that's your opinion. I happen to feel for a 20yr old he deserve votes. Im not saying hes going to get voted in, especially not this yr but I think he deserve some recognition.
Jabari is not at that level yet. You are being unfair to other deserving players. Jabari is a great defender but he has an up and down game. By the way, you wanted a defensive center instead of Sengun. Do you still think the same? I'm curious, that's why I'm asking
Not sure or not if you ever saw LaMarcus Aldridge play or not but he never could get his own shot. He was a post up player, who could extend out to the 3pt line. And he relied heavily on Damien Lillard to get him his shots. And not just him but also, Rasheed Wallace another All -Star forward who relied on players to get him the ball. But if you REALLY look at Jabari, he is developing into a player who is starting to bring the ball up court and getting his own shot, as well as facilitate to others. Like I said, he is going to be able to do it ALL.
You still haven't answered my question. You know, you had opinions about Sengun. Please share your opinions with the people in the forum so that everyone can hear and see. You were saying that Sengun is not the best player in this team. Come on man, tell me your opinion about Sengun!!
Obviously, you're a fan of Sengun and gearing the conversation towards him. I prefer to keep it focused on Jabari and give him his just due. However, since you ask. Yes, I still think we need a BETTER center. Sengun is certainly deserving of everything he gets. He is playing well and he deserves to be an All - Star. Personally, I've voted several times for him. But to me, if you notice its always something with him in the 4th Qtr.; a missed free throw, missed defensive assignment, tonight it was a missed dunk. I still think we need more size and defensive in the paint.
I've watched both players since their Rookie years in the NBA and both players we're focal points of offense on their respective teams. You're wrong about both players - they both could go get buckets without reliance of pick and roll or pick and pop sets - hence, they we're All-stars for multiple seasons throughout their NBA career: Rasheed Wallace was the best player on the Trailblazers and won helped the Pistons win a Ring in 04 LaMarcus Aldridge was an All-star before and after Damian Lillard...LaMarcus Aldridge torched us during those Trailblazers/Spurs years. In my opinion, Jabari is gonna be a really great role player, just don't see him right now as a player you can give the ball to and move out the way to let him operate to go get buckets. Hope I'm wrong though
At the moment, I think he is the best player on the team. I think he has proven that. But I don't think this will be the case in the future. I think Jabari and/or Amen will be the Rocket's franchise player, simply because they can do more at multiple levels on both ends of the court.
I'm a Turk. But if you noticed, I am not trying to make Cedi or Korkmaz an all-star. By the way, Sengun did not miss the dunk, you also know that there was a foul. And he only missed one free throw. You are a ridiculous man and everyone knows you are a ridiculous racist who hates Sengun.
Jokic is not that bigger than Sengun nor more athletic or All-NBA DEFENSE, but he has the right players around him to give him the spacing to operate to put up those monster stats. Sengun is only in year 3 and making the 3rd year leap on pace of averaging 20/10/6 for the season for a Center - not too many Centers these days are putting up numbers like that so let's appreciate the gem we have in him!
I didn't say they couldn't get buckets. I think that was obvious by their play. The question was, can they get their own shot. To me, a player that can get their own shot is a Jordan, Kobe, T-Mac, players of that caliber. And to a much lesser extent, I think Sengun can get his own shot. LaMarcus and Sheed, were not good ball handlers, they could not penatrate, but if someone got them the ball in their spots, they were deadly but no, they could not get their own shots.
hahahaha you are funny. Jabari is a good complement, that's all. Like Michael Porter Jr. Amen doesn't even have a shot man, you're still talking nonsense. Are you 15 years old? Because you're just a ridiculous fanatic fan.
Dude, this is about Jabari. I've already stated how I feel about Sengun. He will never be Jokic. He is not as tall, near to or close in proximity to Jokic.
hahaha bro, you are a seriously sick racist. Everyone on this forum knows your bullshit. But keep writing, you make everyone laugh in this forum, like a clown.
Jabari is a complement but only at the moment. And I happen to think he is better than MPJ is now. MPJ only gives you one thing and that is outside shooting. Jabari's handle is better, his Midrange is better and his defense is better than MPJ's. Amen is totally raw at this stage and you have to understand, Alpi has been playing professionally since he was 15yrs old, Jabari and Amen has been playing professionally since they were draft, 1 or 2 yrs ago? You can't compare
I prefer not to throw insults. It shows a persons level of intelligence when they can't properly communicate. And since you've been following me, you know I could care less what OTHERS THINK. However, as a I stated Sengun is good, you just can't compare him to Jokic, who may be an all time great one day.
My friend Sengun is 21 years old and Jokic is 28 years old. There are 7 years between them. You are one seriously sick fanatic. According to you, Jabari is 21 years old and will develop. But even if Sengun is 21 years old, he will not develop. Everyone will improve except Sengun, are you saying that? You are definitely using something like alcohol. But keep clowning like this, make the people in this forum laugh more. hahahahaha
