I'd probably be ok with every single combination that is not involving Sengun to bring in Booker.

 

Green, Cam, Amen, and the BKN picks would likely be the best package PHX would receive for Booker.

There’s a pretty damn good chance at least one of Green, Cam or Amen end up at Bookers level.

Rox do that deal you should be a playoff team but not a real contender. You’d need Sengun or Bari to become a true top 10 player in the league to get there. If Sengun truly becomes Jokic and Bari take another step forward then you have all the pieces.

FVV - floor general with great assist/TO
Booker - Sniper and can create offense
Brooks - 3D off ball scorer
Bari - stretch 4, elite shooter, defender, and rebounder
Sengun - offensive fulcrum, elite vision, and footwork

Tari - hustle, energy, all around defense, shooting and boards

Need to fill out the bench with capable vets shooters but that’s a contender if Sengun reaches his ultimate potential.

 

You are right that would be the best package Phoenix would get. I would only do it if Amen was not part of it. I know I’ll get all kinds of grief for it, but I think Amen is going to be a superstar and Booker is not. Amen is FVV’s replacement.

 

That is too much for Booker - if you did Green, and the picks along with a Houston pick that would be the most to offer.

No doubt, especially coming from a GM who claim they are going to do right by their players/personnel in the org., the way Porter was given the keys by Stone it would seem that Jalen has all the keys, including the other 1st round picks during the past 3 drafts

Jalen had to be one of the reasons Ime took the job, which is why he mentioned how the biggest growth was to be expected of the young bulls, I believe Ime wants all of them to figure it out, which is why he has sat each of the core draft picks at some point this season to light a fire or put them on notice about their performance that game and moving on and not making a big deal out of it (media wise)

good thing for Jalen is that it's real easy to figure out, make all your wide open shots that come about, and make at least half of the other shots created off the bounce/fly, and play passable defense, if he is going to take 14 shots, make 7 (or more)

Jalen is over focusing on defense (which he should be) and maybe that has messed with his offense output, but he has to make wide open shots and better at finishing at the rim on what seem like easy bunnies that he is rushing and therefore coming up short

Ime will have this year and next to see if he can whip Jalen into that all-around player that he envisions for him, and hopefully that shooting assistant coach guru can throw in a few tips as well to refine his shot (balance/t-ball & wrist action)....TBD

If we were a championship contender already Durant might be plug and play, but none of our prospects have any playoff experience. They're all playing meaningful NBA games for the first time in their careers. Jabari is just now starting to hit his stride. Durant is amazing, but no superstar is going to drag a bunch of 20 and 21 year olds to a title. I'd put any win now moves on hold until our guys appear to be hitting their ceiling.

 

I hear Dejounte Murray is available. He could probably be had for Jalen and Amen. He can start at SG and run the offense when Fred sits.

He needs to come off the bench. Yes it will be a demotion for him and a possibly make him lose confidence however what's happening right now will make him lose confidence 10x worse. Being a token starter and then getting benched when it's winning time isn't going to give him any confidence either
