I think a Cormac Carney death count should start... any time someone gets shot at a hospital, library, playgrounds, stadiums, zoos or places of worship, his picture and the running count gets published in the local newspapers. Noting of course, guns aren't allowed in court houses and courtrooms, where the second amendment apparently isn't as important.
Actually, I have been in favor of radically downsizing the federal government and opposed to raising the debt ceiling since before Trump was President. I don't know where you come up with this stuff. Here I was in 2011 talking about being against raising the debt ceiling: GOP primary Because both major parties are in favor of a massive federal government and spending to appease the masses? The GOP couldn't even get enough votes to get a spending cut in the House bill to raise the debt ceiling or fund the government. They got rocked by Biden, and McCarthy basically admitted as much. They don't even have to tweet. They should just do nothing. Radically reducing the power and scope of the federal government would make me happy and not fixing that issue is a concern. That's why I vote Libertarian.
dispense w the sleight-of-hand, intellectual dishonesty. the debt ceiling was raise every year under the Trump presidency, you were silent every year only because the President was a Dem
I must have missed those threads, and I very rarely start my own threads. I'm quite certain I have never written in support of raising the debt ceiling. I also voted against Trump twice, so I don't know why you think I would specifically support Congress raising the debt ceiling on his watch. I don't know if you noticed, but that was a GOP presidential primary thread, it had nothing to do with Obama. I ended up voting for Johnson as the Libertarian candidate. Nope, as I have clearly demonstrated, I have been against raising the debt ceiling for well over a decade. Sorry to burst one more of your weird fantasies about how I vote or what policies I support. It would probably be easier just to ask me.
Hmm... somehow I think this might create a new thread of trump and election interference. Trump recorded pressuring Wayne County canvassers not to certify 2020 vote https://www.detroitnews.com/story/n...ot-to-certify-2020-vote-michigan/72004514007/
Obvious deep state. And he was immune since he was president. And the if he did it, it was perfectly fine. But he didn’t do it . And show me where the constitution says it’s illegal to talk on the telephone!
Radically reducing the size and scope of the Federal government back to what is called for in the Constitution. I have said it repeatedly.
Besides the crimes Trump may have committed here, didn't these two canvassers have a duty to report these attempts to pervert the election? Why do we only now hear about this one? Instead, they tried to go along. One of them has died, but the other should have legal exposure of their own.
I don't know the laws (not a lawyer, nor play a lawyer on TV), and to be fair don't even know the complete history of what happened here. That said, I agree, and if people reported such outrageous actions by none other than the chairman of the republican party and the freaking president of the United States... there would be less likelihood that this would happen in the future. That's why mcdaniel and trump need to be held accountable. Can't believe this is even a question...
I am getting the sense that republicans tried virtually everything to overturn the election to have trump win...
