Manjack has already transfered once so he would need a NCAA waiver or he has to sit out one year.

Without some type of collective bargain in place, players shouldn't have arbitrary restrictions on their ability to move if the circumstance does not suit them.

Bowl games have largely been meaningless exhibitions for a while now, anyway, so no tears shed there. I can still root for my team even if they run out a bunch of freshmen because the upperclass all noped out.

    Apparently you aren't.

The sport you miss hasn't existed for a very, very long time, and all this nostalgia washing of NCAA football gets old IMO.

If you're so despondent about it, just follow FCS/D2/D3 instead.

I'll be really sad if he transfers. He's fun to watch.

Glad you like this. I don't. Agree to disagree. I really don't think the current model is sustainable. Time will tell.

That would be insane if it happened. Just the fact that we're in the running speaks volumes.

I was wondering if Smith would transfer given the coaching change (plus he kinda sucks and may not be wanted back).

If he graduates this spring and loses the starting job he might leave. He really doesn't have an option to go at this point.

We went from 100+ in the 2024 class rankings to 55 since hiring Fritz. Pretty remarkable turnaround.

I think recruits were as uninspired and put off by Dana as we all were. They couldn't trust him and could see he was checked out. Willie has cred. This is gonna be a good stretch of time for us.

Malachi wants to go to the NFL. That's what he is chasing. Not the money. So whereever he's going he gotta be in the running for a title and put into an explosive offense. He wants NFL eyeballs on 'em. Think we have too many question marks for it to happen here. We do have a long history of NFL QB's, but we don't know what we are on offense so I wouldn't come here as a 5 star until our offensive identify is established.

Mass Exodus at USC right now. They are thinking portal. He wants to be on display and be in an explosive offense. Not a classic NFL offense. His dad's goal is to put some numbers on paper and get folks to look at the kid. The money isn't the priority.

Fritz has to convince him he can do that. But we have very little proof.
