His struggle is on the offensive end but we can count on him playing defense, can you say the same about Jalen

Sengun wasn't awful offensively, but his defense was bad. I have no doubt that is what he was getting coached up on. But it wasn't just him. The defense was just BAD tonight all around.

Jabari finally getting some FT love from the league. Team really missed Eason this game. First game our bench was outplayed.

The way Dillon is shooting the ball he could do well as 2 guard and let Tari be the starting 3. Jalen can be huge help coming off the bench when he has hot hand.

And what he does get, he has to TAKE ! He is being badly underutilized....pretty much everyone sees that but you I guess. More shots ...you miss every shot that you don't take.

FYI...Adebayo played in 69 games and 82 games respectively his first 2 years...averaging 6.9 ppg his rookie season and 8.9 ppg his sophomore season. As well, he averaged 5.5 and 7.3 rebounds per game his first 2 years.

I really like Tate. Having said that, he was basically an empty stat line tonight. He played 19 minutes of basically nothing basketball.

According to Bradeau above.....it is unusual to put up a monstrous game...he says that Jabari is now the only player 20 or younger to put up 34 pts., 13+ rebounds and 4+ 3 PM. Think it might be a little tougher than you say. Not bad for a role player.

I feel so sorry for anyone who wasted their hard earned money to go to the stadium, and they got fed a steady diet of Jalen Green with 11 field goals in the first quarter.

    Talk about disgusting and unwarranted.

And yet somehow they still let him take whatever shot he wanted even though he was doing his usual Jalen things (ie - not making many of them)

I tried to focus on the lack of cohesion he has with Sengun on the offense end, Sengun does everything he can to get him the ball and run around like a mad man trying to set a myriad screens for Jalen.

But I lost count of the amount of times - because I can't count that high - how many times Sengun has his hands up ready for the pass to start initiating a better offensive set, but Jalen just stares at him and refuses to pass the ball so Sengun acknowledges it and continues to go set a screen and watch Green do absolutely nothing.

11 field goal attempts in a quarter from this clown. hahahahaha this is Rockets of the past 3 years type stuff.

Seems I missed a good game. All I saw was the Hawks hit 1000 3s in the first quarter and a half before League Pass died and was unwatchable.

So was Sengun that bad defensively? Or are people giving him the leeway they gave him the past couple of seasons defensively and blaming him for the 5 players on the court? I'll try and watch it at some point.

Don't think the franchise are realising how much they're shooting themselves in the foot trying to build up Jalen into a respectable 7th man calibre player, meanwhile continuing to annoy their actual best young player.

I still don't think Sengun re-signs in Houston. I think they've absolutely butchered having him on this roster. And it is going to hurt, a lot.

Watching the 3 plays, I feel like the 1st and the 3rd were Sengun's fault. He was too slow and out of position but the 2nd one was difficult for him. Tate gets beat on the pick and his man has an open path to the rim. Sengun either gives up a lay up or he steps up and allows the lob.

Let me just say for the record as a Hawks season ticket holder and Rockets fan, I have watched Okongwu play for two years now, and he has never played better than he did tonight. If he played like that every game, the Hawks would have a better record.

Of course he would save that play for my Rockets!

As for the Rockets, this is 4 out of the last 5 where our D has sucked big time. Just bad. Sengun could not even finish the game, Dillon again with just boneheaded plays, JG4 I don’t know what dafuq is up. Honestly the one bright spot these last few games has been the play of Smith. He is really coming into his own. It’s like someone pulled him aside and told him to look in the mirror and realize that at full potential he is basically unguardable. Hopefully he continues to get better.

He was pretty bad. The amount of times he got beat over the top was unacceptable.

I would go as far as to say the stars do it on the road ...... Trae Young had consecutive 33+ performances travelling elsewhere.

    • Your team relies on star performances when opposing fans are booing.....
    • Role players mostly blow up at home and against their home state team.
    • The most bizarre thing is only Jabari and FVV were shooting Freethrows, nobody else got to the line......
