After dropping 21 points in the 4th quarter, Harden was overheard screaming on his way back to the Clippers' locker room: "Fred Vanvleet over ME?!?"
Good for Harden. I still got love for him and wish him the best. Was getting worried that he’d end up like Melo. Hopefully, he gets a ring and cements his legacy.
Where has everyone been lol? **** goes silent in here once James starts playing well. Happy for him and LA. Hopefully he can get himself a ring this year. Clippers look like they are starting to figure it out. They are a star studded team but also super deep.
he does this every season, just like he chokes too. Its not a surprise, there are 82 gamewa in a season
The major hurdle was getting Russ to adapt. He did. Good. Now it looks like the 76ers Embiid-MVP season. It will get interesting when it comes to the Play Offs and it is gut-check time.
Pretty amazing stretch by Kashi and Harden last 11 games Kashi 29.3ppg on 59%-56%-92% Harden 20ppg on 51%-51%-90%
Kawhi having his best stretch of games in his career playing next to Harden…Clippers have also never looked better during the PG-Kawhi era I would say that I’m surprised or didn’t see it coming, but I don’t like to lie
I am not a Harden hater but regular season Harden and Playoff Harden might as well be two different people.
James Harden isn't the same player that he was before all the injuries and trades.... but he is still a really good player. He is averaging 49/45/87 and has an EFG of like 61% as a guard. That is probably the most efficient stat line in the league. He has squandered some chances in the past and had a lot of bad luck. I hope for him that he gets it done this year.... he certainly deserves a title, and Paul George does as well. When they are all healthy and motivated - the Clippers can be nasty. James Harden is quietly creeping up the list for all time NBA win shares - he is going to pass Jerry West, Bill Russell, Hakeem Olajuwon and Kobe Bryant in the next season or so. If he keeps playing like he said he intends to - he has a decent chance to pass Oscar Robertson and Shaquille O'Neal and end up in the top 10. The interesting thing to watch is to see if Durant or Harden end up with more win shares all time. LeBron is going to pass Kareem in win shares and the chronically under-rated Chris Paul actually has a slight chance at finishing top 5 all time in win shares.
That goes for basically every player in the nba except Jokic and Lebron. Look at curry, kd, giannis etc. they all drop off from regular season to playoffs, it's just how the sport works.
Ending his career in the top 10 all time points scored is definitely in play at this point. On pace this season to join Lebron as only the 2nd player in league history to be top 20 in total career points and assists.
