@tallanvor @ROXRAN @basso Sunnis don’t want militants controlled by Shiite Iran on their soil This is as simple as lesbians don’t want transgender lesbians on their dating apps they aren’t dicking around @Salvy @Commodore
Huh? Jordan for example has taken in more refugees per capita than any other nation in the world except one. They certainly shouldn't be expected to take in more. Second, Egypt does not want to take in refugees because Palestinian leadership does not want to take them in, because Israel is very unlikely to let them back in.
MLK was biased - so was Malcolm X and Governor George Wallace. I am not going to look to an Jew or Muslim for a fair and objective view of the conflict, especially one where both sides clearly have blood on their hands.
#1 Why should Egypt be condemned; do you know why Egypt isn't taking in refugees? A big part of this issue is that Palestinians do not want to exit the occupied territory, because they strongly believe that they will not be allowed back into the occupied territory by Israel - and based on history, that is a very real concern.
Eh. Don't forget that the Muslim brotherhood revolution that happened in Egypt in the 2010s was mostly made up of Palestinians and other prp Palestinian sympathizers. Half of the Palestinians in Gaza are unemployed and less than a quarter are educated. President Sisi of Egypt doesn't want a repeat of what happened in 2010z. Palestinians are troublemakers due to their uprising and gulf states don't want to jeopardize their authoritarian rule.
If Palestinians present themselves at the Egyptian border or on Egyptian territory and claim the right of asylum, Egypt should be forced to maintain them. That would be the expectation for anyone claiming asylum at the U.S. border or at the border of any OECD country.
no they shouldn't and forced by whom and how? If a country isn't willing to take on Palestinians themselves they have no business forcing Egypt or anywhere else. Plenty of countries have taken in mass amounts of Palestinian refugees (Jordan, Kuwait, Libya) . all of them regret it so nobody will anymore
Exactly - there are like 10 reasons that Egypt isn't letting the refugees into their country. 95% of us really do not understand the dynamics in the Middle East or the culture - and forming strong opinions without that leads to problems.
And you would say OECD countries should not be forced to accept or maintain refugees/asylum seekers? Fat chance. The point is the massive double standard.
of course. no country should be forced to take refugees. who even defines who is/isn't a refugee? and you didn't even bother to answer what forcing a country entails.
@AroundTheWorld @Salvy @Os Trigonum @ROXRAN heres a fine example of woke eat woke some fashion pronoun dude decided it was cool to make some fashion show with like mannequins wrapped in sheets ok that’s some weird stuff Kanye would make up and now they are being protested by woke idiots thinking it’s anti Palestine but the woke pronoun fashion person made this idea up in JULY so dumb @Ubiquitin @Nook Woke is dumb Woke destroys woke

What she did isn’t going to be high on the priority list for the police - but she still went on someone else’s private property, attempted to destroy their property and then shoved someone. File a report and they should charge her when they find her.
