It's just a group of people that get upset when people competently disagree with them. They get frustrated that they have no genuine counter to some of the things I say, so they go the ad hominem route. A lot of them seek to create an echo chamber by blocking anyone who disagrees with them, and I'm all for it. The way I see it, they are removing themselves from the conversation and that's not a bad thing. I'd much rather discuss things with people capable of holding adult conversations where disagreements can be had and worked through.
That's typical of message boards. It's good to listen to someone who has a differing opinion. Like I said you never came off as a troll to me. I thought that you made a lot of solid observations on Jalen. Maybe people didn't want to hear that
He BTG does make some good posts. People react to the fact that he keeps saying the same thing over and over and rarely has anything to say that is not a Jalen rant. I don’t get mad at BTG for disagreeing with him, I get mad at him for calling me a pathetic sim for Jalen, which I clearly am not, and for all the people he calls morons for not agreeing with him.
All of the criticisms of Cam of him were on full display in that game. Undeniable talent coupled with questionable effort and decision making. For me the biggest orange/red flag is he rarely daps up his teammates. I know this isn't pop warner football and i'm going to clowned on by pointing it out but it's just really odd to me to see.
Well I'm not familiar with that. I think your posts have been reasonable on Jaleni enjoy reading your content
I am all for giving him some burn in the big league just to see how he performs and interact with his teammates. He has a high ceiling that is worth developing. That said, those who gush about him being a future star need to rein in their expectations for now. The "red flag" issues should not be just brushed aside. Also, the priority this season should be Green and Sengun. This is their 3rd season. They need to take a very close look at where they stand in the team's future. So bringing in Cam slowly is a reasonable plan.
Also the fact that he's the type of scummy person that will bring in another person's handicapped kid to try an win an argument on the internet which he was actually banned a period of time for. Clutch may have eventually allowed him back, but that sort of behavior should never be forgotten.
DaDakota has strong opinions for sure, and we definitely have a lot of fun with that here, but I wouldn't personally call him a troll. I think if you find yourself arguing something with DD it's because he's genuinely passionate about it, not because he's actually trying to get a rise out of you. I give DD a hard time sometimes, but this board wouldn't be the same without him. Happy Holidays to you too!
And that's completely fair. I don't know him well enough as I mentioned. He's probably not the type of poster I want to associate myself with but that doesn't mean much. Just an opinion. I'll take your word as you seem like good people. I also liked Christopher. Though he'd be a solid 6th man Appreciate the holiday wishes
We've gotten to the stage where the remaining Jalen fanatics just throw whatever at the wall (the forum) and see if it sticks (anyone calls them up on their blatant nonsense). They have literally nothing positive left to say about this absolute scrub. It's their last bastion of hope.
We would be 16-8 or 15-9 with Malik Monk they are smoking sth has never been smoked. About a year ago i said i'd swap Cam Thomas with JG and that htown guy that freak i blocked (because he's relentless and goes back and forth with you for days) was trying to mock me. Kid is averaging 24 with 55.8% true shooting. Puts up 20 shots a game and still is able to keep his efficiency high. When Jalen takes 20 shots his efficiency drops to 52-53 because he doesn't have a reliable jumper. Cam has high release point overall good shooting mechanics and has feel for the game so he can keep his efficiency above 55 even if he takes 2 dozen shots a game. That's what i've been saying for months here what makes a player consistent is his fundamentals not 2 consecutive good games he has. Ppl think that if a player has enough b2b good games he will get accustomed to it. Like there's a threshold for that. That's the biggest misconseption i have observed among NBA fans. If that was true anyone who played guitar more than 3-4 years would be able to play Asturias. If nobody is around to teach you the positioning of your fingers on fret or other techniques you will hit a wall eventually and your way of playing guitar will not help you get to the other stage. You won't be able to take that leap. It is that simple. The evidence of his low to mid bbiq is his shot selections, the root of his inconsistency is his shooting mechanics and his low to mid bbiq.
Was told last night he’s a good defender. Please, man. Sell ice to some other Eskimo, cause I ain’t buying it.
I genuinely am not watching the same games as those who say/think that. I'm thinking people see the drastically improved team defense and think Jalen has improved drastically too. All it takes is a few minutes of watching him specifically on the defensive end, to know that is just blatantly not true.
I literally was told to go back and watch the video. No substantiation just, Max go back and watch the tape. I mean who can even argue with such astounding logic?
