Felt like a little more-than-usual missed easy buckets from our squad. Definitely too many offensive rebounds given up, 2nd chances for a good Bucks offense. Some ref shenanigans on the bingo card. Tate/Holiday with the PJ Special, zero points in 30 combined minutes. Superteam doing superteam things.

Don't be sad. This was an unlikely win at best. Let's go beat the Cavs.

No doubt. I'm just saying that he needs to get un-soft.

I will try to explain one more time. I’m not talking about one on one matchups. Offensive players have a massive advantage with the ball in their hands over the defender. They know where they’re going. A quick step and even the best defender gets burned. I don’t get mad at a guy because Dame gets by him. But I get mad at the guy whose job it is to step over to help refuses to do so.

Man defense once you’re past the 4th grade is TEAM defense. No one checks their guy all the time. So you don’t hug your man if the ball is on the other side of the court. Maybe if you’re guarding the best shooter on the team, but Jalen isn’t asked to do that. He’s asked to step over and help because the guy he’s guarding is the least threatening guy on the court. That’s the role on defense. He doesn’t do it well. And when he doesn’t late in games, a guy like Udoka who is trying to build a team around defense, won’t leave him in. Honestly I can’t believe this is even an argument. The proof is in the minutes late in games. If I’m clueless about this than I suppose Udoka is as well, because I don’t have the authority to bench him, but udoka damn sure does. And he does.

No one expected a guarantee. No one expected Lebron. Not at all what I’m saying.

It has not wowed me as it did to many on here. I am glad I overslept that particular draft night.

Jalen had an decent game statistically. Not amazing, but it was fine. But it looked like we were trying to hide him on defense. I barely remember seeing him switching onto anybody consequential, not even Middleton.

I think a guy that you have to hide on defense needs to be better than "fine" on offense.

I also saw some really bad decisionmaking at times. One shot in particular annoyed me a great deal: He took a semi-open transition three pointer when we were still in striking distance late in the fourth quarter. He missed. If we'd had a quality possession there, who knows? But it was essentially impossible to win after he bricked that one.

If he were a good three point shooter on the season I would be okay with that kind of decision. But he's not. He came into this game shooting 32% from three. You can't be pulling that sh*t when you're well below average from beyond the arc. Slow it down, get the ball to Fred, and run the offense.

Jalen is going to be hot and cold, he is inconsistent. It's Udoka's job to play him when he is doing a good job and bench him when he is not.

We lost this game so obviously Udoka made the wrong call. Why you need to examine Jalen's entire history just to somehow prove he had a bad game this game is beyond me.

Bingo. And on nights where you’re less than fine on offense, at least commit to team defense and help

He shot 50% from 3 this game on 4attempts so his calls were good this game. Even had 7 ast to 1 turnover so pretty sure he ran the offense well.

Wow, ok. Jalen playing more was clearly the answer to beating the Bucks. Ok.

Well benching clearly wasn't the answer right? Not sure how you think not playing the dude shooting 50% from 3 and creating for everyone was somehow a good move.

Can you please show me the metrics that show that Jalen Green is a good defender?

I wish they'd use his midrange, freethrow extended range, more. He's just not a spot-up-3 guy...yet

Jalen has a defensive rating of 110.4. NBA player Def rating average is 110.6.

He isn't as bad as you saying.
