That is fine point it all out. No one else did anything wrong. It was just green. Him missing a 3 and not getting a rebound is the only reason Rockets lost. Oh wait no it wasn't but yet those plays will be pointed out to death in multiple chats bc their is a narrative that needs feeding
Just do this once. Everytime someone besides green misses a few shots or has a turnover. Look to see how many comments are made about it. Then look to see if green does the same thing and how many comments are made.
That is the part that is annoying the constant picking on just one player.
I am.not a fan of green other than for the fact that he is a rocket but you have to be in denial to not see that the amt of hyper criticism he gets for every Play is disproportionate

Like I said nobody was perfect but the Rox lost by 9 and got out rebounded by 17 whether or not Jalen got that reb it wouldn't have made a diff. You are just over exaggerating it.

How do you know no other reb wasn't lazy? Do you have any proof to back it up or just pulling **** outta your ass?

It is relevant because you asked about JG being the "only guy" vs Tate and Holiday. Nobody here gives a care about Tate and Holiday because they are short-timers while JG is expected to be a foundational piece of the franchise.

You need to get used to JG's flaws (real or perceived) being singled out and quit whining about it.

Jalen isn’t asked to guard Dame. Dame is a HOFer and he will have nights like that. Again, I’m not even asking Jalen to stop his guy. I know he can’t do that. Im just asking him to understand and play team defense and rotations. That’s it. Obviously we need more from him on offense. But he can’t not play team defense and stay on the court…which is why we keep seeing him on the bench in the 4th quarters now repeatedly. Udoka will play guys who play defense even if their offensive skills are nowhere near Jalen’s. But he’s not gonna play a guy who can’t or won’t rotate to help on defense.

The issue is that he hasnt had any leap at all.

He will. He cares a ton. If his shot isn’t falling he’ll find a way to contribute. I’m not worried about Jabari at all. He gets tough assignments on defense, rebounds like crazy, and is developing his offensive game. I feel good about his trajectory for sure.

Hell, getting a great coach, and I think we have one now, was what we needed the most, in my opinion. Our GM got us Coach Udoka, and he deserves a lot of credit for that, but he also gave us 3 seasons of Silas first. Not only that, Stone spent way too much time interfering with Silas doing his job, according to @Nook and other sources, the Athletic, for one. Not something any head coach would appreciate or stand for, except for Silas, who should have resigned rather that put up with it, in my opinion.

While I was glad to see Coach Silas gone, I confess to having a bit of sympathy for the guy for what he had to put up with from Stone. At least I think we can all agree that Ime won’t put up with any of that nonsense, and that Stone wouldn’t dare attempt it. Not if he likes his job, in my opinion.

Lol Dillon was 100% right. The disrespect from that ref was real, and ridiculous.

Imagine being an NBA ref and not respecting the players. Nobody ever chooses to be a ref, they're all not good enough to play but they pick and choose who is worthy of a whistle.

Worst subset of humans on the planet. Fire them into the sun

So Jalen wasn't the one who guarded Dame but Dame scored 39. He was the one guarding Giannis but Giannis scored 26 and also had 17 rebs. He wasn't guarding Lopez and Lopez had 18 and 6. He Def wasn't guarding Middleton and Middleton had 20. As far as I can tell as the worst defender Jalen was guarding Jackson and Jackson had 9 pts in 39 mins. So clearly Jalen's bad defense wasn't really hurting the team as much as you say since Jackson couldn't take advantage of him.

The reality is Ime messed up this game not playing Jalen in the fourth that's why we lost. Maybe if he played Jalen more than 3 mins we would have won cuz clearly the great defenders on the Rox couldn't stop the Bucks to begin with.

    7 assists..
    a limit on shots taken..
    Amen not forced to play..
almost 50/50 ball handling duties with JVV when on the floor at the same time..

    just proves

Coaching Staff prioritizing JG's training in playmaking

could soon be the primary ball handler for the starters while Amen handles the bench team

There is a ton of expectation when you’re taken #2 overall…and when there’s a valid argument that your minutes could be given to others find ways to contribute on both ends.

That's an old wives tale, that lifting weights will ruin your shot

The issue is that you haven't seen me point out bad plays by many other Rockets players, which I have, but you seem to focus on just 1 comment I made today and aggregate it with others who made similar comments. Why are you doing that?

Why the argument has been raised that high lotto picks are no guarantees and it is just a crapshoot.......

The whole draft class is no Lebron draft, no Luka draft, no Hakeem or Jordan draft.

I'm pretty sure it does since having more strength means your muscle memory isn't accurate anymore. It happened to me as well when I started hitting the gym I lost my shooting touch.

I don't mind JG being singled out but not when he has a good game you understand that or not?

People are somehow hating and blaming him for this game which is just factually wrong and makes zero sense.

He hasn’t made a leap, that’s for sure. But to me he’s taken steps in the right direction. I would be lying if I said my goalposts for him haven’t shifted for him a bit, but the team has also surprised me a lot this year and I feel like Jalen can find a way to be successful in a more competitive environment.

I wish he’d show me more on a more consistent basis, but maybe that will come as he gets more comfortable with his role in Udoka’s offense. I don’t mind being patient for a while longer, but I can definitely understand and respect the fact that others may not be so forgiving with their timeline
