I don't think you watched the game and just posting reading box scores. Jalen was essentially on the weak side the entire fourth quarter on defense while the Bucks posted up Giannis every possession on the strong side. His man was just spacing the floor and Green just stuck with him.

I'm not quite sure exactly what you are talking about this game. In fact Jalen was not really involved in the offense either, he made two passes to Jabari which he missed and missed one 3 himself. Otherwise FVV and Sengun got all the touches

 

That's my issue.

He's certainly a net positive on offense, showed some great playmaking today. Probably gives some back on defense, which is why he so frequently sits in the 4th quarter and rarely guards top players. Right now he's just...a guy.

I keep waiting for him to take that next step, and he just never seems to. His offensive output has been in stasis since the middle of his rookie season. We've seen Smith and Sengun take clear steps this year..not so much from him.

 

Jalen played 29 mins. Jeff played 17. They scored the same. It’s all the same.

 

It's not good this year overall but this game it was good so it's dumb to hate on him for this game.

 

As he should. The NBA refs are showing that they are not neutral arbiters during games, but they are there to protect the so-called superstars, stars, and highly marketable teams. This is a disgrace and a total disrespect for the sport.

 

May be he wants to see Nix-type young guys. Early twenty but has a body of late 30 Welsh farmer.

 

So because Jeff played less mins he scored less than Green even if both scored 16? Are you also dumb AF?

 

Jalen is two years away from being three years away.

 

He could have used 2 years in a college program, for sure.

This team is not winning the NBA championship. I want them to wreck **** and get some experience. It's awesome that they're playing meaningful games constantly after 3 years of nothing.

I want them to be pissed off when they lose.

Next season is serious business.

Next offseason, I expect some changes to be made. What that entails I have no idea, I just hope they're better and still more fun to watch.

 

7 assists to 1 turnover vs 1 asssist to 1 turnover.

My point is that he sits him because he can’t defend And when he disappears as a scorer which he does frequently he gives you nothing on the other end

Don’t condescend to me and then try to play the victim for calling you on it. I’m fine with disagreeing. Don’t pull the “just watch the tape Max” while offering zero substance to support your position implying I’m not watching

 

Ime sat Alpi and Jalen way too long, they were both playing well.

 

Im not hating on him for this game, its collective games this season. Im just trying to explain my concerns with him this season.

Alright man, I think thats really messed up, posters not being happy with Jalen's play, doesnt make them a cult. Idk why yall are so defensive about Jalen in particular. Everyone gets it when they play bad or arent meeting expectations.

 

There is a difference between criticism and hyperbolic messaging and hyperbolic scrutinizing.

 

That sounds good to type but it's clearly not the case for the usual folks.. Damned if he do, straight to hell with gasoline drawers if he dont..
