He provided 16/2/7 while shooting 50% from 3.

If everybody had the same Stat line as him we win this game.

 

Both are true. Again, this is why Ime won’t leave him in. You get that right? He was bad in the 4th on defense…so as you said, he only played 3 mins in the 4th. Seems pretty clear to me because this keeps happening.

 

He isn't a superstar. He does have talent to be a very good NBA guard. I agree that jalen is being totally deprogrammed to play in Ime's structured system... you have to peel off the playground GLeague and 2 years of Silas playground ball...and then start building the team player needed. If Jalen doesn't put it together, then OK. But, we have to make sure we aren't knee jerking a valuable asset out of here too quickly. I am seeing progress. JMO.

 

Again be specific. He stayed on a 3 pt shooter and a defender got a offensive rebound over him.

He's averaging 53 TS% on 17 PPG, its not great.

His best aspect should be his scoring but its not been good this year. His defense and passing are just so so and its not impacting the game for what we expect from him.

Jeff Green is playing much better than Jalen Green, although he gets less pts.

 

This. The great improvement in the Rockets is something to admire despite the loss that had the referees, once again, insert their bias into the game. The Rockets though may need a sniper in the mold of a Duncan Robinson or even Reaves.

 

In year 4 you need to be on the court in the 4th quarter. We have big boy contract decisions to make sooner rather than later with this guy. Either not understanding defensive rotations or being unwilling to make them don’t speak real well for progress unless you’re guarding the other team’s key guy.

In the 4th, he did that twice. And as you said that was in 3 minutes. Then he was pulled. Are you seriously arguing Jalen is a good defender? I’ll let you off the hook on the 2 examples in 3 minutes and just let you answer that.

 

Tate and Holiday were both worthless tonight but nobody gives a care about them. Expectations are low and neither guy will play for the Rockets next year.

 

You realize both Green have the same points right? Oh but the numbers are lying Jeff Green had less pts than Jalen even if they both scored 16?

 

Ime sits jalen if he plays bad defense not if he is not shooting well. Ime is not playing jalen if he is a bad defender. sorry to burst your bubble. Ime has sat Jalen before. multiple times. youre the one acting like a b****. relax.

 

This was a good game. Just fell short on getting the momentum after good defensive plays, either by bad calls or because of rushing for the basket too early. Bucks was lucky to get the game.

 

How is that relevant? Is next year this game? It's not like Green had a bad game by any means as well you realize that right?
