So you cannot find an historian who agrees with you?

There is plenty of land in the Muslim world. Yes, they want control of all of the land - because it means they can expel or subjugate or kill all the Jews, just like they did practically everywhere else they are in power. The land is just a small part of a bigger goal.

I mean, Hamas openly tells you - they want to kill Jews - everywhere. And you go "oh it's just about land". FFS.

They had white flags and they still shot them.

If this doesn’t show anyone how incompetent and genocidal the Israeli military is I don’t know what will

They’ve been doing this to journalists and civilians for decades. Shot their own people at the festival, bombed them while they were in the tunnels and now shot them while they were alone and unarmed.

these deaths were not on Hammas , they’re on the Israeli military goons (there’s a reason the people of Israel are saying so themselves)

when one of the hostage said “I’m was more afraid the Israeli military would kill us and say it was hammas, than I was fearful of the latter”

unfortunately some folks here choose to support a fascist and genocidal Israeli government over the life and wel being of all Jews

You have never condemned the Israeli military for anything. Americans criticize the American military in our own land but are attacked for calling out a foreign one.

they shot 3 of their own hostages waving white flags probably because they thought they were Palestinians , and the sad part is it wasn’t the first time this conflict they killed their own people

you can say it’s because of Hamas here but the entirety of Israeli even disagrees with you. Netanyahu and his fascist govt funded them and precipitated this situation. You know I respect you, but playing coy like this is hypocritical when you have been Bibi’s biggest fan on here and have yet to condemn him brother. This is definitely a both sides, the Israeli military is full of humans. Humans that make mistakes, carry hate, and some of whose are also genocidal

Shooting the 3 hostages was surely a tragic mistake. Need more facts to understand what exactly happened.

They should never have been brought into that situation in the first place, by the Hamas Islamists.

The IDF is otherwise doing what it has to do. They have a territory next to them governed by genocidal Islamists who murdered, raped, kidnapped over 1,000 innocent people in a single day, after stockpiling weapons for years and years - and said they want to do it again and again and again.

And it appears that 3/4 of people in the Gaza strip support these genocidal ambitions.

The IDF cannot stop before this threat is eliminated.

The premise that Jews and Muslims cannot coexist was incorrect, so the conclusion based on that flawed premise is also incorrect.

I want to see Jews and Muslims living in the same land peacefully and with dignity for all. Achieving that is not easy. What I do know is that the current Israeli government under Bibi has made it seemingly impossible. Israel would benefit in the long term under a different government that seeks not only short-term security but also works toward a lasting solution, whether that’s two states or another approach. Bibi has failed completely, and there is no end to violence with him in power.

Have you looked at how many Jews live in Muslim-majority countries in the Arab world, 1948 vs. now?

Have you heard of a concept called jizyah?

Nothing I said is about a Muslim majority or Muslim government, although historically, that’s not impossible but improbable due to significant human rights and cultural differences. A ruling Democratic government has the responsibility to govern fairly and with dignity for all, giving lasting peace a chance.

Resorting to ad hominem attacks is indicative of an inability to sustain a constructive argument.

I fault military and political leadership. They should be held responsible. They claim it's against their rules of engagement. I don't see how they are so poorly trained to shoot at three people who are shirtless, with no weapons and with white flags. On top of that, one of them begging in Hebrew. This isn't an incident in isolation—it's a pattern of deadly military aggression against civilian, the press, and rock throwers. I don't think the IDF cares much for international rules or the rules of engagement.

It's not an ad hominem attack. What you are suggesting is just entirely unrealistic.
